Nossy Be V.4 - Travel in Paradise

This is a two disc set, one is Brazilian music, the other New York music. The first cut on the Brazilian CD shouldn't be included, but tracks two through eight are vibrant, fast-paced jazz, tracks ten and the remaining tracks are excellent to average. The New York disc is a collection of jazz that is stoned out music, some redo's like Gino Vanelli's "People Gotta Move"(the reason I purchased the set and the only track I had heard), and others like "A Man and a Woman,"Quiet Nights", and "Why can"t We Live Together?" all redone creatively. Out of this two disc set, there are only a few tracks out of the 25 that aren't worth listening to again. This was a great buy for just wanting one track; there are another 19 worth hearing over and over.

Great for entertaining / cocktails / dinner party, but a little repetitive for just listening to music alone. Stylish and sexy.
