I always want to find a replacement for my IKEA wood stool( which is a great product already). I like it is a little bit taller and nicer finish with dark wood stain. It fit my home style more. Instruction is somehow…. Confusing. But overall I’m very satisfied

Love this step stool. Easy to assemble and perfect for getting into higher cabinets and for my granddaughter to use to help me in the kitchen. The handle in the top makes it easy to Carry. Lightweight and still sturdy.

As others here have pointed out, assembling this stool & ladder is difficult and poorly designed. I’ve assembled dozens of pieces of furniture in the past so I know what I’m doing, and I don’t recall many pieces that were as difficult to assemble, and for which the assembly was so poorly designed and documented. Critical pilot holes are missing, which not only forces you to expend extra effort to screw the brackets in place, but you have to guess the best location. And if you guess even slightly wrong, it makes attaching the other side of them more difficult in later steps. They don’t tell you that. Also, I had to file the insides of a couple of the large holes to make them slightly bigger so the rod that the steps pivot on would actually fit through them. And the directions are poor - even to the point of showing you the finished product in a position that it can’t possibly be in. Pay attention to the pictures in the Amazon description - the steps don’t fold completely inside the stool, they rest against the frame at the top. That’s OK, it works fine, but the picture in the instructions, and even one here on the site, shows the steps folded completely inside the stool. They don’t fit in there, at least on mine.Having said all that, the finished product is very nice looking, sturdy, and gives the appearance of a quality product. I’d recommend it as long as you know and accept what you’re getting yourself into with the assembly. Assembly time for me was about 90 minutes.

The instructions were minimal and only about 4 of the needed holes to insert screws were predrilled. The holes needing to be drilled were not marked at all. Because I have an electric drill and spent enough time to figure out the necessary screw placement & drill holes the assembly was completed.Stool is fine and sturdy. I needed something taller than the usual step stool and this stool is just the right height.I would no recommend purchasing this item unless you are handy with a drill and patient enough to figure it all out from the scant assembly instructions

Had to stop after first step. No holes and can’t screw into wood. I’m throwing it out. Don’t waste your money

Nice color strong

I put it in my kitchen area as a counter stool but if I need to take thing from higher cabinet it is easier to carry and folding it to anywhere.

Nice color , and oh so practical. This is much more difficult to assemble than it needs to be. None of the holes were pre drilled, directions were virtually impossible to decipher.

beautiful, sturdy product. Assembly was not easy, as there were no pilot holes for some of the brackets.

Love it but make sure you have grip socks on it’s got slippery steps! Matches my kitchen table perfectly!
