I liked the unit a lot, enough to keep it when the 30 days were up!it's best edited from a computer, I'd recommend that, and you can backup and restore as well.If someone I knew wanted a high-function MIDI capable display, I'd suggest this one!

I really really wanted to love this. I ordered it an it had a high pitched tone coming from the audio output. The original seller had a terrible return policy so I contact the manufacturer. After twenty emails they let me send the unit in for RMA and they send a replacement.I got the new unit and it worked fine until I installed the accompanying software which told me it was connected and I needed to updated the firmware. So I clicked ok and waited 20 minutes until that software crashed. I waited another twenty minutes and it was still Not Responding; I have never seen a product take 40 minutes to update firmware.So I killed the app and the unit is now bricked. I asked myself if there is any QA on this product of if it was just rushed out ahead of Christmas.Could be great but its a terrible user experience and very unreliable.Update Jan 20 - I returned the first unit and got a replacement. When I opened the management software it immediately showed me that I had to do a firmware update, so I clicked ok. After 40 minutes nothing had happened and the software hanged. This corrupted the update and bricked the unit. I spent two hours with tech support and they sent me a third unit. Same thing happened. So that is 3/3 units that were non starters. I give up. Be very aware.

Lots of modulation effects in one pedal that actually sound fantastic. Easy operation too which is nice. Plus there are several parameters to adjust for each effect so you can customize your sound. Great pedal and great value

I love the Pedal. It certainly does live up to its reputations...Being technologically advanced...

I specifically sought out a stereo version of pedal, like an Ocean's 12, but landed on this opportunity to try IKM's box. Stereo was a requirement so I could run my stereo synthesizer through it. I really like the box, the display, and the range of effects. But honestly I am having a tough time wrapping my brain around how to best operate this fully-featured beast. My shortcoming should not affect the product, which I'll rate 5 stars.

Amazon sent two. First one dib (dead in box). Second one lasted a whole day before dying. Amazon stood behind the sale. IK Multimedia didn’t stand behind their pedal. Buy at your risk. I give the pedal zero stars.

I'm a sucker for a pretty-sounding effects pedal and this one lured me in.Not only does it sound great, but it's built very well, easy to navigate and runs on traditional 9V power so it can be tossed into most pedal boards with little issue.EFFECTSThere are several different delay modes -- probably more than you would ever need or use, but a few of my favorites are Dual, Reverse, and Arctic. The are all very nice, and just a few of the 16 different options to choose from including vintage tape, ping pong and swell delays. I would have to say that my overall favorite is the Arctic, which adds a bit of shimmer to the delay sound for a nice ambient tone. Reveres is also nice, which adds a reverse-tape effect to the mix, or delayed, signal. There are also many built in options that can be easily adjusted with the knob on the top left. As you scroll through the individual settings, it's easy to adjust each parameter to your liking. There are also hold and tap tempo buttons on top as well as a built-in memory that allows you to save custom sounds or use some of the preset options.I/O and ADJUSTMENTSAs for the device itself, it's built extremely well, as you would expect a pedal of this quality. On the front are individual knobs to adjust Time, Feedback, Filter, Mod Mix to tailor your effect. On the back of the device are stereo inputs and outputs as well as MIDI in/out, a jack that can be used to attach an expression pedal for on the fly adjustments and a USB port (the ancient type) that can be used to update the device's firmware.The great thing now is that this thing is priced at only $239 here as of writing this, which is about 100 bucks cheaper than some of the more popular competitors. If you're thinking of getting this delay pedal, I wouldn't ... delay. But don't take my word for it, search "AmpliTube X-Time" on YouTube and find a demo of the device. Hearing it will do it much more justice than anything I can say. I love it, but give it a listen. If you're anything like me and you love a good effect pedal with a smooth sound and myriad options, I think you'll like it too.

The media could not be loaded.  First of all, it comes in a great package. The Chasis of the unit is very well made it feels very sturdy. Footswitches are heavy-duty and they can take some tap dancing.It is great to see a power adapter that you can use in several countries for those who use a pedalboard power supply will not need this. There is no battery option available but this is not a must-have.Ikmultimedia has a lot of sound clips on the web and after trying the unit I found these to be very accurate. Unit comes with 16 different delay models under the hood and they all do a great job. Although I would use a vintage tape echo most of the time, it is great to have several great options.The sound quality is fantastic overall!The MIDI capability is a must-have for a unit like this and it is great to see that it comes with it. This makes jumping from one preset to the other lightning-fast and convenient.The pedal interface is very easy to use but the Amplitube Library software makes the whole process even easier. This also allows me to store and back up my presets.I sincerely hope that you would find my review helpful.

I liked this pedal so much, I bought the reverb as well. I find it amazing, the possibilities are endless and the quality of the results I get are really pleasing. All presets are adjustable and really easy to edit and save, the controls are responsive and easy to use, the pedal is designed really well and is so practical and simple. It's also really solid, the construction feels really good, nice brushed aluminum case and bright screen, it's definately a keeper. I make ambient electronic music and this pedal is a dream for that music direction. I was happy with the price, and I find this pedal all round, extremely good.

Arrived dead :( no option to get a replacement in the same price. So had to send it back :( At least IK Multimedia offered a software license for the hassle of not being able to get a replacement one from amazon.

Premetto che non sono un musicista professionista, amo usare i riverberi sulla mia chitarra per creare atmosfere ambient.Questo pedale possiede una varietà di suoni incredibile.Per quanto ne abbia esplorato solo una minima parte, mi sento di consigliarlo.

Der Sound, die Algorithmen und die Verarbeitung haben eigentlich komplett gepasst. Leider kam das Ding scheinbar nicht mit meiner Netzschaltung klar und erzeugte irgendwann keinen Klang mehr. Ich würde das aber nicht auf einen technischen Mangel des Geräts selbst zurückführen.Für Leute, die nen guten Modulationseffekt wie Chorus, Phaser oder ähnliches nutzen wollen und dabei noch eine midi-gesteuerte Preset-Auswahl bevorzugen, ohne lange nach brauchbaren Sounds suchen zu müssen, sind hier meiner Meinung nach richtig.Aber...wie auch bei der Konkurrenz aus dem Hause Strymon, muss man hier ein wenig mehr auf den Tisch legen. Wenn man aber bedenkt, was hier alles enthalten ist, relativiert und amortisiert sich das ziemlich schnell.Daumen hoch.
