This variety (Hatch GC) of this brand (PC) absolutely is my "if you could only have one food for the rest of your life" deserted island, fallout shelter, post-apocalypse, pick for sure. I'd live off of it even without the weird twilight zone scenario of unlimited access to a single product in the total absence of civilization if I earned enough working to buy a 1lb bag a day (which is how fast I devour the stuff). This is not to suggest that the price is too high, it is well worth the value- just that the desire for this transcendant nourishment is one of the only remaining things which entices me to pursue wealth, and noticing that the product has become unavailable and possibly replaced with a Limon type, makes me a little worried about the future of flavor in America... Please don't discontinue the Hatch Green Chilie option of your Carna Seca variety. Thanks PC, - Your fan

1000% worth the wait this is some of the best jerky I've ever had, if you like bone dry jerky this stuff is for you. So much flavor as well 😋 deserves 5 more stars honestly ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It's dried meat for sure, but by my estimation THIS ISN'T CARNE SECA! Carne Seca should be _thin._ This stuff is as thick as the leather soles on my fancy shoes!And there's definitely RED chile in the mix - I can literally see red flakes, and the HATCH Green Chile flavor is virtually non-existent. That's when I looked at the ingredients and found the BIG LIE -The Fourth Ingredient is listed as 'Seasoning (Spice _with_ Hatch Green Chile)'... it does not explictely say HATCH GREEN CHILE - This tells me that their spice mix is a majority of some other mystery spice (probably all that red chili flake I keep seeing and tasting) and makes me suspect they use the bare-minimum legal requirement of Hatch Chile just so they can slap that world-famous name on their product...Also, because of the word-choice intentionally used to obfuscate what spices they are actually using, this product may contain other undisclosed 'seasonings' like MSG... It's an old trick to call something a "spice blend" or "natural flavoring" to get away with not labeling all contents.I am EXTREMELY disappointed, especially considering the values the company purports to be important to them - well, they fell far short of their own mark with this one.Do better...

Very very good

This is one of my favorite beef jerkies! However, as I was wolfing down my morning commute jerky, I looked down to see that the chunk I was digging on had mold on it :( I tried to figure out how to contact the company to see if I could get a refund or a replacement, but I didn't see a way, unfortunately. Still tasty, but not thrilled about the extra "flavorings". I hope People's Choice Beef Jerky reaches out to make it right, because I would still support them in that case!

I tried so many different brands and recipes of jerky in search of the best I’ve lost count.This product has it all and then some. Great quality, flavor and overall, the best I’ve ever had.I highly recommend this product hands down and it will now be my go to jerky. My search for the best is now over. This definitely is it!
