Still contacting the seller to see what can be done about it. I received this product after ~15 days and it looks like I still can't use it, I would be better off buying similar product through Ikea :-/

My first ever desk and I’m really happy with it! I had been using old dinner tray tables before so this is a fantastic upgrade! The color is much darker than I expected, and the desk doesn’t swivel easily without disassembly but it still looks good and serves its purpose. I’m very happy with it. Fair warning for unboxing, it’s filled with dust and styrofoam so it was really messy, I had to vacuum and clean my whole room after assembling it.I didn’t put the thin back panel on because I wanted to run wires behind the shelves. It works great as console housing too!

Assembly was a little difficult because it wanted you to assemble upside down them flip it over. Very hard to do in a tight space. Directions do not tell users how the turn lock screws are supposed to be used, arrow points up then turn clockwise to lock in place. This is the first time my 15 year old has ever put anything together. He was getting supper frustrated because he was following the directions but couldn't get it to go together correctly. I had to help him figure out that he was trying to put the screws where the turn lock pins and screws went. Once that was figured out, it went smoothly. The only problem we have is we can not get the slide panel to seat properly, or it's slightly to big,so that corner of the desk is not 100% tight.

I like this desk very much. It’s sturdy, well made and really easy to assemble even for one person. Even though there’s a lot of room for storage it’s a fairly small footprint. I also like that the configuration can be changed later by only removing a few screws. I recommend this product

If you’ve put together Ikea furniture you can put this together - it’s similar but got some better functions than ikea like sturdy L brackets and silicone grip in the holes the screws go in (no particle board chipping or flaking) and they all went in straight - we didn’t have a square corner to work with making desk shopping difficult but this fit perfectly - i do wish the shelf sides could be swapped so i could fit my tall computer cpu underneath but even with up top there is plenty of room for 2 monitors and a key board - my printer sits in the top of the shelves perfectly - overall happy i got this desk i think i’ll work out great took me about an hour alone to put together - i do wish there where some other color options
