Waterproof Inkjet Transparency Film 8.5 x 11 (100 Sheets)

Bought these to use with my Lexmark X5650 inkjet printer and they work great. I'm using the transparencies to print designs for screen printing. Using the correct settings that come with my printer, such as "best quality" and "paper type: transparency", I get nice bold imagery and text when it prints. Also, no smudging at all - the ink is dry the second it hits the tray. The listing didn't have any pictures, but based on the description, I knew it was exactly what I needed. You get 50 sheets of transparency paper. Only one side is the print side (which is marked on the package, so don't lose it). You can kind of feel a difference between the two sides (one is very smooth and plasticy while the other is a little soft and porous), but it is a real hassle, so just keep the paper in the package until you're ready to use it.Overall a great product at a great price. When I need to re-up my stock of transparency paper, I'll definitely buy this one again.

purchased 12/13 on Amazonalthough not mentioned in the description - as a few other reviewers have noted - this film is a milky clear color - not completely clear.for my purposes this is fine (we use transparency film for button making to create metallic buttons as well as various other alternate backgrounds that printers can not replicate on their own. this does not affect the print quality so long as displaying the front side - if you print and use the reverse side it will dumb down the color showing through and cause a haze over the design.great price for these ($26.99/100 as of 12/13) especially compared to other options at big box stores.we had no problems with our Canon inkjet printer (MX 922) printing on these - quick drying and results were fantastic!

I got these for making negatives to use for PCB UV printing.The milky side has a slight texture to it that wont let my fingers slide as easily as the smooth side which isn't for printing. The contrast is amazing, the smooth surface makes it great for pushing against the PCB's UV dry resist film. Very little UV leakage on the edges.The only downsides I have is that the pages aren't all the same size, some are wider than others, some others are a little skewed, and some others just stick to other pages. The sticking portion I can understand, and I've been printing 2 sets of prints one on white pages then alternating to the plastic sheeting. It lets me test the image before figuring out what I need, I insert more white pages to try and figure out my problem, then let a single plastic sheet through. Works well, but sometimes jams due to static cling. To get to 5 stars, I'd need ALL pages to be the same consistent size. it would help keep the pages straight through the printing process.

Got this to do Silk Screen Prints at home and save money vs going to a place to have them printed. This works really well with my Canon Printer. Its a milky white material that is transparent, the milky white doesn't stop the light from coming through to harden up your emulsion. You should figure out what side to print on quickly and the papers limitations quickly. They're not quite as durable as getting them laser printed at a professional place, since If anything happens to the milky side it can screw up a sheet. However the savings alone means this is not even remotely an issue, if one gets damaged you can quickly print a new one for a fraction of the cost of getting them printed up. This has saved my Business both time and money. I will absolutely purchase these again.

I bought this as a test run for a new idea I had for my resin jewelry work. Vellum came out cloudy, nothing else was working and my amazon search brought me to these. It works perfectly! I made up two fast examples just to test the film in resin (don't judge the bubbles, these were test runs only LOL) and it prints out clear and perfect. The resin, once hardened, keeps it clear and perfect! Time for me to make a ton of new graphics!!

Price was right but . . . . film is opaque, not clear. I don't believe this was mentioned in your ad. Although it went through my inkjet printer OK, I found that there were white spots on the film's surface not before but after the sheet went through. They were not surface spots and could not be removed. Lastly, if you purchase this film, please note that the ink does not dry instantaneously. Don't put a film sheet through unless you're sure the prior one is dry. Also consider the static electricity between My prior (similar) response to Amazon went unanswered.

The Fixons Waterproof Transparency Film works great with my medium priced Canon inkjet printer. I use it to make transparencies for exposing Speedball photo emulsion for silkscreening. The black color is pretty dark, but to be sure I will print 2 copies and layer them together to insure that I have a deep dark black transparency for good exposure. Works great, great price.
