Flexcut 3/16 Right-Handed Scorp KN22

Super!, this size is great for carving things like small leaves - works on hard woods
I've been doing small sculptures, such as flowers and eaves, using some dried Natchez Crepe Myrtle and Pineapple Guava wood trimmed from my trees; they're fairly hard, especially the Crepe Myrtle, and this scorp is GREAT for doing the inside "bowl"-like curves and especially, the undercut areas for curled leaf and petal edges.- The handle is shaped in a way that lets me comfortably hold it in several different ways, and with my left hand when I need to cut in a direction away from myself. I can control it well enough to get the wood fairly thin.- I've also tested this good little scorp on Ebony, Honey Locust, Yellowheart, Bloodwood, and Cocobolo, and it tackled them all.- It's of course best used going with the grain and not against the grain, especially given that this one is only 3/8", but it lets me do things I otherwise had not been able to do.- I WOULD recommend having a good sharpening stone on hand jut in case the edge dulls, but so far, that has not been an issue for me.- I'm also looking to get the 1/8" one now.

Must have for shrink pots.
Razor sharp out of the box and is the perfect tool for my shrink pot bases. Good solid steel and an outside bevel. Cut dry maple cross grain. Great tool.
