Very Pleased with this Purchase
If you are looking for a review of the latest technology features of this product and a discussion of how its controlled via a dozen interconnected electronic devices linked through WI-Fi and Bluetooth so the TV can be turned on and the channel selected while your auto driving car is self parking itself in your "smart house", this review is certainly to disappoint you. There are those who demand and use every feature on their "Smart TV's" and then there are those of us who simply watch TV and want it simple to use. Turn it on, pick the channel and watch. My wife and I are in this we "want it simple and have it work" group. Truth is, we probably won't or don't use 90% of the electronic features and probably never will. We simply want a very good picture, an easy to use remote or control method and the item to be reliable. This TV has not disappointed us and we are very pleased with this purchase.Purchased during Prime Days, I was very pleasantly surprised to learn this TV was to be delivered via Best Buy's Geek Squad, the very next day after purchase. When I received the email from Best Buy, they asked me to select a delivery time of either 7am to 1pm or 1pm to 8pm. I selected the later delivery option. Less than 24 hours after purchase, the Geek Squad van pulled into the driveway at 9am, with the TV. I was a little surprised they had never called me, but the delivery time worked out fine. The two young men delivering the TV set stated that they hoped the "earlier delivery time" would be OK and since we happened to be home, it was. They carried the TV box right into the upstairs bedroom where it was to be installed. They mentioned that if I had purchased an optional service through Best Buy that they would have installed the TV, including mounting the TV on the wall mount (if desired) and that they would also remove and dispose of our old TV, which had been purchased through Best Buy many years earlier. The one young man doing most of the talking pulled out his phone and checked to see if it was possible to "add this upgrade" to the Amazon purchase while they were in the house, so they could handle the removal of the old TV and set up the new set. He did state that the package from Best Buy which included these optional services apparently couldn't be added to my purchase since it was a Prime Day Special, but I could add the option by going directly to Best Buy's website. The purchase of this optional package provided a number of benefits including in home service, etc.The TV works great, it was very helpful to have it delivered and placed right where it belongs and it was very helpful to have the old TV removed and properly disposed of, as it was a struggle for the two delivery men to get it down the stairs and out of the house, there is no way I could have done it on my own and what would I have done with it, if I could get it removed from the house? There is an electronics recycle firm within an hours drive from our home, where you have to pay them to take the electronics. It requires you must transport the items to their facility and the old TV was 5' tall and nearly 6' wide and nearly a foot deep at it's base and weighed at least 175 pounds. It would require a trailer to get the set to the recycling center, assuming of course, one is able to get the old item out of their home on their own. Instead, for one fee, the entire situation was resolved and within minutes, my new TV was set up and all of the packaging removed along with the old TV set. Plus, the optional Best Buy package had numerous other benefits, including in home service on the new TV etc.The TV works great, the delivery experience exceeded my expectations and the set up of the new TV plus the removal of the prior TV and all new TV packaging, made the purchase superb. I am glad to see Amazon and Best Buy working together in this way. Their collaboration made the purchase an even greater deal and wonderful experience.........

Best bang for your buck.
I was leary of purchasing another Toshiba Fire TV. My 2019 model barely made it 2 years before having issues with backlighting with negative green flashes. (The work around for that is to set the backlighting to 65 and it went away... Any higher and it is dying.)I wasn't certain about the quality. I will update this once I have more data. This is day one of purchase and this is more the initial thoughts. This TV was rather easy to setup. I use it with my Yamaha receiver and a Google Chromecast with Google TV. HDMI1 is the Chromecast, HDMI2 is my receiver output for settings menus, and HDMI 3 is for my antique Spectrum DVR. The audio out through optical audio out.As with my old one, in order to get the best sound quality, I turn of the set speakers and turn off all the TV sound modifying settings. They only work for the TV speakers and you don't need them.Don't get me wrong. The TV's speakers are nice, clear, and loud. I just love quality from my receiver much more than any set speakers or a sound bar.I do have specific video quality settings that I work on for my TVs. Those are just personal preference. I disable any filtering or processing besides the one that upconverts lower than 1080 resolution and it works really well. Put on one of Spectrum's analogue channels and it sharpened the image up and stretched it better.I can get better picture quality than this TV and the price is around twice as much and with a bezelless design, neutral front, and works with my equipmen, I am happy with this Toshiba. There's the caveat of this review being right after release. I will be updating this review if there is any issues. So far it is working great. The problem I have is that the set is so new, Logitech hasn't updated their Harmony Hub to work proper. I was having to manually train buttons and half wouldn't work properly. That's just the pain of buying early. My early impressions are that it's a great, cheap, television for those on a budget or to stick in a playroom for kids. So far, I can say, that it's a good TV.

Incredible what you get for so little money!
Completely insane that it's now possible to buy a 4k TV that's noticeably bigger than you are for less than $500 these days. And so lightweight for the size too! I was a little skeptical about the quality for price initially, but we've been incredibly pleased. For our purposes, we didn't notice any loss of quality watching streaming shows or playing games with the 60hz refresh rate vs. 120hz.We primarily play PS5, occasionally Switch.- This TV's game mode works really well to remove the input lag even when set to full 4k.- Colors are good and accurate, and only really required a little tweaking for the best picture quality.- "Light bleed" from the corners is nearly unnoticeable, especially when the TV is actually in use (I only ever saw it during all-black "loading" screens).- There's a feature that will turn the TV on, change the input, and turn on game mode when you turn on your console, which is nice and convenient. - The remote is quick and responsive, however it is very vertically symmetrical; I regularly grab the thing upside-down and have to flip it around. Probably will just take some getting used to (I'm used to remotes that have a slight taper, making the top more obvious than the bottom).- The whole "smart TV" thing is obnoxious. I really wish you could still get "dumb" tvs nowadays.Sure, there are better TVs and bigger TVs, and smaller TVs. But if you want a gargantuan screen that looks nice and doesn't demolish your bank account, this thing is awesome.
