VOXGuitar Combo Amplifier (MINIGO50)

This VOX MINI GO 50 AMP is awesome but it was missing carrying strap, (OPEN BOX item) and guitar tuner doesn't fully work correctly for ADGBe strings. But price was cheap and its discontinued so I'm keeping it!! simple $5 nylon guitar strap is now being used as carry strap and who doesnt own a Snark tuner? Amp models and FX are great and it's even got a built-in attenuator function !! (.5w/5w/50w) It gets pretty damn loud for an 8" speaker, but how can I get a 10" Weber in there ??? :-)

This Vox Mini Go 50 Amp is very Powerful & Versatile. 6 of the 9 amp models are truly outstanding: (from left to right)Deluxe CL, Boutiqe CL, Vox AC30TB, Brit VM, SL-OD, and Double Rec.The Reverbs & Delays are great as well. This thing has tons of power, is relatively quiet, and has excellent sustain. It would be a great buy at $400; at $280 it's an absolute steal!

I have lots a 15W, 30W and 100W Vox amps with the 12AX& preamp tube, a Fender 20W Mustang V2 and a Fender 100W Mustang III and a Spark Amp. I also have the Vox headphone ampAnd although this amp has the drum machine and looper built in, the sound quality is barely acceptable and the delay and reverb are very poor. Yep, it would be nice to have the looper and drum machine built in, but I couldn't get past the poor overall tone and lousy affects. The tiney Vox headphone amps I have have full affects that are far better than the Vox Mini 50.I boxed the Vox Mini Go 50 amp up and returned within an hour of unboxing it.Save your money and time and get a Spark Amp.

Find we are doing a lot of outdoor playing since the Covid happened. I use this amp for band practice out at the park and it does fine. Can be a bit challenging at first to dial in a tone as the sound curve is a lot different than my tube amps. To me this amp seems kind of bright so I roll off a little guitar volume and a lot the tone knob to get a fatter sound. The reverb is adequate once it's in the mix and I use it on both vocals and guitar. I find that I like 2 of the models most, many have too much distortion for me. I use the Brit800 setting and can get a good edge of break up tone on that setting. The Deluxe CL setting is also nice to my ear with a fat low end and round tone. Using an SM58 mic the vocals sound pretty decent, they have an airy quality on my voice that my pathetic old PA does not have. Made me decide to sell my PA. I do not use any of the other wild and crazy features like the rhythm machine or looper. Using the 1/10 setting and volume about 1/3 up is the loudest I've needed to go while playing with a drummer who uses brushes and a bass player who is using a Roland Micro Cube Bass battery amp.

For the money and size, you can't beat the quality sound this amp produces.

People are missing out if they don't use this amp. So many features - microphone, looper, models, & drums! I put a battery on the side (velcro). I use this amp constantly.

Bought this on a recommendation from a friend. Great for plugging in the guitar and mic and playing harmonica. Love the internal drum machine and also plugging in the phone for backing tracks. Not tried the looping features yet but the modelling side seems comprehensive. It’s lighter too than most and more portable. Money we’ll spent in my opinion.

Der Verstärker kam sicher verpackt hier an. Alle Funktionen sind einwandfrei: akustische Gitarre, elektrische Gitarre, Mikrofon funktionieren sehr gut. Auch die Auswahl an Verstärkern reicht völlig für mich. Ein highlight sind die verschiedenen Rhythmen, die mein Spiel natürlich interessanter und flexibler machen, dazu noch eine Loop-Funktion. Was will man mehr. Zum Üben unbedingt zu empfehlen. Wer draußen spielen möchte, da geht er auch noch - hat da aber auch seine Grenze.

Have to agree with Chris Gillespie. I ordered the VOX Mini Go 50 which ought to be twice as loud as the VOX Mini 5 Rythmn and for twice the price. Having sold my 5W Mini5 Rythmn to get this...I was gutted by the inferior sound quality and the poor choice of models in comparison. I thought hey it must be a duff one and sent it back to try another...no both as bad as each other. Now I don't know what to do. I can't get my VOX Mini 5 Rythmn back and they no longer make them. Never assume that a newer model will be an improvement....devastated. Can't play my instruments now until I find another good amp with a microphone input. Poor show VOX.
