These Are Even Better in Real Life
If you're thinking of ordering these but you're not sure how "vintage-y" they look in real life, they look fantastic. The detail on the cameras is very good, and the quality of the material used on these is excellent. Not cheaply made at all and very solid. Also, the bases are solid and the bottoms don't slide at all. Tiny, thin, rubber grips on the bottoms keep them in place. In fact, I have them on an older desk that has a kind of inexplicable top layer of wood that is smooth and kind of slippery, but these don't move AT ALL.I literally love these and get a tiny mood uplift every time I happen to glance at them in my office. I get that "classic film" vibe every time.5 stars.

It’s a beautiful set of bookends that are very sturdy.06.08.21 Update: one fall onto carpet and my beautiful bookend as heavy as it is broke into several pieces. Very sad because they looked great on my new bookcase😢

THE PERFECT ACCESSORY FOR MY BLU-RAY COLLECTION!!!
These bookends are awesome! They are very well made and have some nice weight to them so they hold up my Blu-ray DVD collection very well. They also add a very interesting element to my movie collection showing old technology (70mm film) and new technology (HD/3D/4K). I highly recommend these bookends for your DVD and Blu-ray movie collections!

Great quality! Exceeded expectations
These bookends are really nicely crafted! When they arrived, I was surprised by the sturdiness and quality of the item — they have a decent heft that I wasn't expecting! They have a very handmade and classic look to them. Super excited to show them off in my media space.Note for any waste-conscious buyers: They ship wedged in between two pretty large chunks of Styrofoam.
