This honing oil is specifically designed to be used with Flex-Hone brand hones. This special blend is made of the following agents: special lapping oil, a petroleum derivative to prevent galling of aluminum, a moisture dispersant, surfactant wetting agent to assure complete lubrication of the surface, and a special additive to keep metal cuttings and contaminants suspended. High quality honing oil. More than enough to hone 12-20 bores.

Just buy the stuff.
If you have sunk the money for a Flex-Hone for Firearms brush you can afford the oil so dont mess around and just purchase the right oil recommended. This half pint is probably more than you will ever need. Put some in a pill bottle to use as your working stock so you don't contaminate the bottle. Dip the brush it. Swirl and get back to work.
