Good deterrent for wasp and bees!
Very easy to put together. Good quality and they seem to be keeping the pesky hornets, wasps and bees at bay!

They really work!!!
We were having some issues with wasps on our upper and lower decks that we just built. I knew about the paper bag theory, but from what I have seen, it didn't work as well for keeping them at bay. Saw these and thought I would give it a try for the price! Well, I can tell you these ABSOLUTELY work. The only caveat is you MUST hang them BEFORE you see any wasps. It's apparently a territorial thing, if they have already built a nest and you hang this, they will not leave as they were "there first." I have watched wasp after wasp fly over and when they see the decoy nest- they beeline out of there!! Also seems to work for other larger flying insects, maybe they are afraid of wasps! We have been able to enjoy our deck with people over and not have one wasp dive bombing our friends. Price point is great too, with 6 pack, I have been able to give some to my friends with pools and lake homes. Works like a charm! AND being cloth-like material and not paper, it has survived wind, sleet, rain and snow. 100% recommend!

Seems to work so far!
Last year we had a nest built waaay up in the outside gable of our garage eave. Was a terror to try to remove.I noticed a lot of "scouts" already and didn't want to go through the same this year.I bought these, and hung 3 so far. I have seen a LOT LESS already. They have held up to high wind and rain thus far in Indiana's spring.Pleased so far.

Very effective tool against pesky Carpenter Bees ! Highly recommend ..read on for more
One of the most frustrating things in life is having the wrong definition of things. Many years ago i was told that these larger black bees were called black jacks and that they don't sting... that info never challenged i assumed i had black jacks and didnt' think anything of them. Little did i know that what I was thinking were these benign bee were actually carpenter bees and although they were not very agressive against humans (though the queen will sting) and slow moving .. i didnt' realize what they were doing. They made it point to target my pergolla because it was made of a soft wood... these bees like the soft wood and make long tunnels in them to lay their eggs... if you ever see a pile of sawdust randomly it's like not random .. carpenter bees are very distructive. I did some research and found they usually make holes about a quarter inch thick if you follow them you can find where their holes are.. what confusing about these holes is that they will appear as any other screw hole.. Look out for saw dust piles to help you identify them. I found that using an can of foam based pest control with long straws to feed into the holes which should kill the carpenter bees and there after using a wood filler or wooden dowls to plug up the holes. These Bee hive latterns give the illusion that Bees have nested , Carpenter bees see these avoid the area. A very cost effective solution against carpenters bees which are very distructive.

Testing DECYOOL Wasp Decoys: : Assembly, Looks, and Early Effectiveness Test
Assembly & Build Quality:The DECYOOL 6 Pack Wasp Nest Decoys feature simple construction, which is not a bad thing. It was a bit tricky to figure out how to assemble them at first, but once I understood the mechanism, the process became very easy. The material seems to be of a decent quality and is waterproof, thankfully not a flimsy paper. There is a sort of hook built into the metal wire frame, which is nice.Installation & Use:Hanging these is made versatile by the design. The built-in metal hook can be easily attached if you have existing hooks, such as plant pot hooks, offering a simple way to hang them. An included twist tie provides another option for securing them in various locations. I hung three of these around my deck. As of functionality, I am a bit skeptical, as wasps are still roaming around and basically ignoring the decoys. I'm not sure yet about their effectiveness, but I will give it several more days to see if the wasps will be driven out. Hopefully, the decoys will drive the wasps out eventually.Pros:- Decent Quality & Waterproof Material: Feels durable and is not flimsy paper.- Simple Construction: Straightforward design.- Versatile Hanging Options: Built-in hook and included twist tie for flexible placement.- Aesthetically Pleasing: Do not look ugly and blend well, like a Chinese lantern.Cons:- Initial Assembly Trickiness: Can be confusing to figure out at first.- Questionable Immediate Effectiveness: Wasps were still present after hanging.Final Thoughts:While the immediate effectiveness of the DECYOOL wasp nest decoys is still uncertain based on my initial experience, I appreciate the simple construction and the decent quality waterproof material used. They also have a pleasant appearance, blending into my outdoor space. The versatility in hanging options is also a plus. I will continue to observe over the next week or so to see if they eventually deter the wasps.
