🔧 Measure Up to Perfection!
The 100mm (4") Digital Height Gauge with Fractions is designed for precision measurement, featuring a large display that shows both inches with fractions and millimeters. With a resolution of 0.05mm, it ensures accurate readings, while its stable magnetic base allows for easy positioning. Ideal for woodworking and other applications, it lays flat for convenient fence to router bit positioning.

Reasonable height gauge for the price
Things I like:- It's relatively cheap.- It works.- Strong magnet in the base holds it to metal surfaces.Things I don't like:- Metric resolution in only +/-0.05mm even though Imperial units read +/-0.001inches (which is +/-0.025mm). This is likely a rounding limitation in the digital controller that's used.- It doesn't arrive perfectly square (see pic).- The digital readout is at 90 degrees, so you get a sore neck and this might lead to the occasional human error when you're looking at the display.- It doesn't have a carbide tip on the end of the scribe. The scribing tip is also not replaceable. But then If you're using this so much that you're wearing out the scribe you should probably be buying higher quality tools.- The base is aluminum and looks pretty flat, but it's not going to be as flat as a ground steel base.

Excellent tool. Exactly as described.
This tool functions exactly as you would expect if you commonly use tools like this for layout work and or height measurements.I would like to see it about $40 - $50 cheaper as it is just a regular run of the mill Vernier head with an arm for height measurements and an edge for scribing, and all is mounted to a small piece of extruded aluminum. All in all, it is a good buy if (like myself) you use things like this for a living or hobby. It does the job well.I would buy it again if something were to happen to the one I have!!!

OK for the price
The cursor has too much play on the ruler, which induce a lack of accuracy and repetability. Let see, now, how long it will last. I would have like that the magnet be stronger. Overall, it's ok in a wood shop context. But no more than ok. One must be careful to get acurate results.
