CraghoppersKiwi Men's Long Shorts

Difficult to find walking breeches down the South here so these long shorts are good alternative. These are made of polycotton so do not take long to dry but not as short as the Rohan Striders breeches (which Rohan do not make any more).These are good for travelling because the cargo pocket is long enough for airline boarding passes. Reckon you could also force in a 1:50,000 OS map. There are security / zipped pockets for wallets and passports and seaman book.Caution. I noticed that everything I buy from Craghoppers is half to one whole size smaller than ones I bought in previous years. I know because I still have new (unworn and unwashed) shorts and torusers bought in previouis sales (2010 to 2015). Also, the old ones feels fractionally thicker. Still, £20 for shorts with these many pockets deserves 5 stars.

I have two pairs of these kiwi long shorts in black pepper and now in bark - just wish they did a navy blue pair and I would be first in the queue for them. I find waist sizing varies between brands/manufacturers with vast differences between 32" and 34" and I probably need a 33" waist in truth so end up with tightness or having to wear a belt. However these shorts have slight elasticity in the waist and the 32" fit me perfectly. The longer leg is also much more stylish and ideal to wear both at home and out and about. What a find - thank you craghoppers.

On my third pair of these now in 4-5 years. The 1st was a 32" waist, which I felt was just too constricting, I sized up to a 34" for my next purchase as I like plenty of room and don't want the waistband digging in, When these came up at a not unreasonable price, I again ordered the 34" waist. Unfortunately these now absolutely swamp me. Craghoppers may need to get a bit more engaged in the consistency of their sizing. They are wearable (with a belt) and are of good solid construction, but to reiterate - sizing is all over the place....

Perfect fit and very comfortable. I really like zipper pockets for security purposes. If someone trys to pick a pocket you should be able to feel it and fend them off etc. When traveling most important some friends of mine have lost their wallets &/or Passports etc.

I wear these shorts in our rib. They are so comfortable and if they get a bit wet they dry out pretty quickly. There are three zipped secure pockets and the leg pocket has a velcro flap so great for the phone. Perhaps a little on the thin side, but overall, very pleased.

Unfortunately,despite sending for a smaller pair ( waist measurement) the fit and importantly the length of these shorts ( described as being long) were still above the knee and of quite poor quality although i have bouggt this make previously with no problems. I therefore sent them back and was annoyed to have to pay fir return postage twice.

Great design. The zip pockets behind the 'normal' pockets are great for keeping phone, wallet and keys safe, especially while on holiday. The longer sunglasses pocket down the right leg is also useful. They're much better quality than similar shorts I've had before and, though I've only had them a month, I can tell they will not wear better and longer. They're also very comfortable - partly elasticated waist but also take a belt. Curiously, my black pair are slightly larger than my sandy coloured pair in the same waist size.

Have/had many pair of Kiwi classic bags/shorts over the years. The more recent purchases haven't been up to the earlier standards so I thought these would be a risky purchase, in addition a mens "capri" version were way too small a couple of years back. I wanted some shorts with zipped pockets and a pocket capable of carrying a map, wallet, tablet.Pleasantly surprised these fit well, nice and comfortable, room to move with that extra storage capacity not available in the normal kiwi shorts.I also purchased some Kiwi convertible trousers, at the same time, that again fit well but time will tell on the leg zippers.
