AVG Internet Security 2023, 10 Device 2 Years, AntiVirus+Firewall+Protection+Privacy, [PC/Mac/Android] [Licence]

Great price great software. Great support from AVG too. No need to uninstall just activated the new licence, and entered it in my AVG software. AVG Support synchronised the activation and expiry dates so that I had the correct expiry date.

I've been using AVG for years and it has proved to be good protection, at least for the stuff that I do particularly on Windows installations. There are some annoyances. The protection that comes with what you buy is enough for the the needs of most computer users but AVG have other "add ons" that they would like you to buy and from time to time they try to scare you into making further purchases. There is a lot of configuration that you can do including a silent mode that stops most of the annoying meaningless warnings but from time to time they override the silent bit to try to sell you something. I have also had difficulty getting it to work properly on my iMac In fact lots of people have had problems with AVG and Mac. AVG support are good at coming up with recommendations that don't work. The latest was they wanted me to let them take control of my computer remotely. Now that is a bit much for anyone who is interested in security to agree to in fact it is a bit much for AVG to suggest. If you want a product that works on a Mac then perhaps you should look at reviews and pick one that will work out of the box.

Updated my existing installation and entered code sent to me. No problems and went smoothly.

I had previously bought direct from AVG on a rolling contract but found that the price was increasing each year even though it was easy to find better prices. They would discount if you complained but still buying via Amazon was unbeatable for the same/better product.

Not sure how secure this purchase is as I received the licence number by email from the seller and 2 days later a printed piece of paper through the letterbox showing the licence. Nothing here on official AVG paperwork. The choice is yours. I suspect my “10 machine license” may be sent elsewhere. I will regularly check to see how many PC’s it is registered on as I obviously know how many it has been installed on. This should not change unless I make those changes! There was a time when the licence numbers were hidden from resellers but it appears it now.

Good protection but could do with explaination a mere mortal can understand.

It's a good value for money subscription

To add members of the family there were no links but the individual members easily activated the code and installed successfully.
