Work perfectly
Good replacement value. Make sure you use the right tools to remove the old ones. And do it one at a time. Find something to safely support the door's weight during the process. You might need to slightly hyper-extend the door to get the door open far enough to get the bolts to screw in without cross threading.

Worked ok
What I didn’t like about this product is that one of the gate lift support bolts stripped on me. I was using the right size drill torx bit to install it and yet the screw/bolt head stripped so I ended up tightening it with a vise grip. As you see in my picture.

Working Great 16 Months Later!
These have been on our Town and Country for well over a year. They still work like new! Install was a little hard for one person. I needed to come up with a way to extend the door up a little past it's normal range in order to have the hole on the car body side line up. I used a rake handle with various things under it to prop up the door.

Initially, supports were frozen in open position; but, this was not a problem. No buyer's remorse.
My 2007 Town & Country lift gate (hereafter hatch) began dropping, especially in the colder weather. Changing the supports was not a problem using a Torx T40, an extension (for the body mount bolts only), an impact gun, and a 7' piece of 5/4" to prop the hatch open. I would not recommend a helper hold the hatch up, as it is impressively heavy amd a prop would be better advised. Incidentally, the supports I received were initially frozen in the open position. I placed most of my 280 pounds on them separately prior to installation and could not compress them. After researching, this is a common occurrence after shipping possibly due to temp changes or atmospheric pressure changes that can occur if shipped by air. After installing, I DID ask a buddy to help pull the hatch back down to break them free. Two people, pulling down on the hatch at the points on each side where the supports mount to it broke them free and helped minimize warping/bending of the lift gate. These supports are a little too much at this time for the motor to pull the hatch down without working a bit, and occasionally ringing off the four beeps of protest; but, I'm fairly certain these supports will relax with time. Until then, it's convenient to hit the FOB while my arms are full to open the hatch, and pull it down manually after loading the van. It is clear that the motorized actuator was primarily designed to pull the lift gate down--while the supports primarily provide the grunt to open. Overall, a 10-15 minute job and $20 in parts have me a happy camper again. Hope this helps.

Great product for the price
The review with the t40 bit helped alot,Great product for the price.I just put the lower bolts in first, then used one arm to lift the gate while I used a ratchet in the other hand to install the top bolt. EASY. took less than 10 min, Just take the weight off so you don’t cross thread.Only complaint about the product is lots of slop on the ball joints, and no lube on them.Would buy this brand again.

easy to install, with the right tools
These were very easy to install and made the liftgate usable again. I would advise though that mine required a torx drive, fortunately I had these right one for my socket set. Without this tool they will not be possible to install. The replacement lifts seemed to have the same strength as the original ones.

They don't fit 2006 Dodge Cargo minivan as stated in product description
They are about 1/2 inch longer than needed for 2006 cargo dodge minivan, no can do even with liftgate hyper extended open. I wish i read Frank's comments from Oct 2023 in time.
