GREAT value, sized correctly, plyable, almost 100 minis
Outstanding product value. Before I ordered, I read the reviews and expected at least 6 of the minis to arrive broken, I had 3 so expect to have some super glue handy. That being said, I gave 5 star review because this assortment exceded my realistic expectations.Get nearly one hundred 28mm scale quality minis, for me this worked out to be less than 40 cents each. The plastic is flexible (unlikely to break), there are 6 of each sculpt, enough to practice painting, operate several types of campaigns, use mob tactics, and have a lot of fun.If you check the pictures, you find several in different settings, some with different paint jobs and some with the same paint jobs. There is a picture shoing the raw wizard mini, primed & base coated, then finish painted. There are also comparisons with other mini brands such as D&D, CMON, Reaper and generic; this set looks good with plently of detail. There are so many, I have really been able to improve my mini painting skills to the point I am going to go back to the first few and fix them while the last ten I am painting for a snow adventure and they are looking great. If you are wanting to get a set of minis to go from nothing to plenty OR bulk up on minis that can be easily integrated with others OR if you need to practice painting before you start investing in high end paint or sculpts THIS IS YOUR SET.

Great Mini's
Nice unpainted mini's, better than expected quality for the price, the Dragons have no real detail on them like scales or anything, but can be painted up real nice without that.

Fantastic D&D starter set for new Dungeon Masters!
As a longtime DM for Dungeons & Dragons, these minis are absolutely fantastic for beginners! The value in this box is incredible for what you get, and there’s enough variety here to build all sorts of encounters for Level 1-5 players. There’s also plenty of potential player character minis to represent fighters, wizards, rogues, and all the other standard D&D classes.People have complained about the lack of detail but that doesn’t really bother me, as all of the monsters have clear silhouettes that are immediately readable, even for new players. I’ve also heard some people say that some of the minis arrive damaged, though I was lucky and experienced no such issues. My only real gripe is that the plastic on thin pieces (spears, staves, arms) was usually warped or bent in some way, though this doesn’t detract too much from the readability.Overall, this is an excellent starter set for playing D&D and is an easy recommend for anyone looking to enter the hobby as a Dungeon Master.

Worth the money
Pros: Good selection of miniatures, both heroes and foes. Reasonable amount of detail on the miniatures. Scale is good for D&D/Pathfinder game play. For a starting group, this will probably get you going out of the gate.Cons: Some of the miniatures could do with a bit more detail, while I think many miniatures go over board with buckles and straps and doohickies, it would be nice to have at least the hint of scales on the dragons. Another minor con is that there are no small heroes (halflings or gnomes), though for starting players a goblin or kobold could stand in for one of these. The biggest issue is that the package looked like Ace Ventura delivered it, beaten and battered. Of the 69 miniatures, 10 were not fully assembled including all 3 dragons, some just come apart at a glue spot, but a few were broken (2 of the dragons for a wing joint and one dragon foot). I am happy to say, I shouldn't have any problem repairing these except for the wizard whose arm with the spellbook did not make it (have other hands from other miniatures, so not a big problem).Neutral: The dragons appear to be on huge (3"x3") bases, but look more sized towards large (2"x2") creatures. Since I am needing to do some repair to them any way, I will probably just rebase them as well.Overall, this is worth the money, but go into the purchase with your expectations set appropriately. You may need to do some minor repairs, but for the price per miniature of something you would get out of a gumball machine, the quality and detail is quite high.
