Can't fault it, perfect for future vet students and even handy at A Level!
This book is brilliant for getting you going in veterinary medicine and even covers some A Level topics at an appropriate level. It skims over most areas of veterinary medicine as well as being a good basis to anatomy, so things like glands are covered and structures such as the kidneys are done in detail, not just the skeleton. It uses technical language, though it's not a complete barrage of vet-lingo, and has definitions for them also. What's really helpful is how it includes the basic anatomy/physiology for other species as well as the main species - Dog, Cow, Horse - so it also gives you a taste of exotic vet medicine. For its price, can't fault it and would recommend for any prospective vet student or even anyone studying A Levels with a keen interest in biology.
