Sturdy! Good quality aluminum, everything worked flawlessly with my HOTAS WARTHOG. Easy installation. Im happy I didn’t cheap out on this option as there were others to consider at lower price. Solid product, worth the money. Pretty happy with the product.

Oh boy what a pain this was to put together. The instructions that come with this are horrendous. If you want guidance just look at the picture(s) Amazon provided. If it wasn't for that, I'd be lost. YouTube didn't help either. This should be pretty straightforward, but unfortunately the instructions didn't help. After your brain starts moving and you start mounting everything, you're left with a heavy duty product hanging out of your desk. Product that is worth every penny. Super sturdy and ultra comfortable.

These mounts are solid and don't budge at all once clamped to the desk. Heavy-duty materials with perfect tolerances. Nothing wiggles even the smallest amount. Every possible adjustment point you might want is present, and the track system provides a quick way to dial in the position. They come nearly fully assembled with additional nuts and bolts and hex wrenches to apply them. The locking mechanism is smooth, and the nylon bumper and rubber desk protection are well-crafted. I mounted Winwing's Orion 2 F-18 HOTAS. It wasn't listed as compatible and nearly worked out of the box but for the supplied bolts being a smidge too long and the gear sliding when attached. Adding a small washer to each bolt was all it took to adjust to a perfect bite under even the hardest stick pulls. If Meza included a handful of washers they could justifiably call it fully compatible with Winwing's Orion 2 line. A well-crafted piece of equipment at a fair price. Packaging was first-class as well.

I recently purchased the Meza Mount - Set of 2 Heavy Duty Hotas Desk Mounts, and I have been mostly impressed with the quality of the product. The shipping was prompt, which is always appreciated. As for the mounts themselves, they are a testament to good engineering and design. The build quality is top-notch, featuring clean lines and a sturdy aluminum construction that exudes durability. Installation was pretty straightforward, thanks to the included manual. The clamps are well-crafted, providing a secure and seemingly immovable grip on my desk. I was particularly delighted to find that the mounts fit my WinWing Orion 2 Hotas Max like a glove, which is a huge plus. However, it wasn’t a perfect experience. I encountered a snag with the provided screws for the joystick base—they were too long. And frustratingly, the screws that came with my joystick were too short. It was fortunate that I had a couple of spare screws from my throttle base that fit perfectly. So, future buyers, take note: you may need to find screws of an intermediate length. Additionally, the design for securing the throttle base involves an inverted screw-up approach with a nut, which can be a bit tricky due to the limited clearance. This wasn’t a deal-breaker but is something to keep in mind during assembly. Overall, despite the slight inconvenience with the screws, the Meza Mounts have added a level of professionalism and solidity to my flight sim setup that I didn’t even know I was missing. They are a fantastic choice for any serious flight sim enthusiast, provided you’re prepared to possibly supply a couple of your own screws.

Good quality mounts at half the cost of the Mtsim mounts which are very similar. The included hardware leaves a lot to be desired so be prepared to go to a hardware store. The reason I'm returning it: the SMELL! It's the clamps. I can't even describe it but it's extremely strong and it's awful. I don't think I've smelled anything like it before. I tried many things to get it to go away but it won't and now I give up, I had to get these things out of my room it was so bad.

I bought these to mount my WinWing Orion II throttle and joystick base. The clamps are very sturdy, and the metal is all of excellent quality and machined nicely with wounded and beveled edges. There are ZERO instructions, which would be helpful in sorting out which nuts and bolts go where. All screws and hardware are good quality and the correct sizes and thread patterns to fit the intended HOTAS system. They even give you a few spares/extras in case you lose something - always a nice touch from a manufacturer. I only note two opportunities for design improvement: First, the clamps are very strong, quick to attach and release and easily adjusted for a wide range of desk thicknesses. I do wish there was a little more space between the clamp and the base to allow the clamp to go behind the small lip on the front of the desk. Most desks aren't just a solid slab of wood; many have a lip on the front edge. Mine is only 3/4" deep and the clamp can't clear it - it clamps to the lip instead of the horizontal desk surface behind it. I ended up gluing a 3/4" thick strip of plywood behind the lip to allow the clamp to mate to a flush surface. It was still reasonably solid before I did that - not a deal breaker. My second observation is the mounting plate for the joystick base is very long Even adjusted as close to the desk as possible, the plate positions the joystick much closer to your body than it needs to be, forcing me to sit farther from my desk and screen than I would like. The plate could easily be 2" shorter and still have plenty of clearance for the joystick to push forward to its limit and not have your knuckles touch the mounting rail. Especially when mounting a throttle base, it would be nice to position the stick farther forward to more closely match the relative positions in the actual cockpit. There would still be plenty of room to adjust the position closer to the user, making the whole thing more versatile. Overall, very impressed with the build quality and would buy again.

Like the headline says, I received my mounts today. Workmanship looks great, BUT I am missing two threaded inserts that allow the HOTAS mounting plate to be attached with the provided M8x16x2 screws. Without these inserts, one of my mounts is useless! I have contacted the seller via Amazon. We'll see how they respond, and if they do I'll adjust my rating. If they don't respond soon, back it goes. This is a revised review. After my problem, the seller contacted me and offered to send me a new set of mounts free of charge, even without returning the old one. In trying to solve my problem, I found a set of T-nut fasteners in the M8 thread on Amazon that looked like they would work. I got them in today and they fit (not as good as the originals in the other mount), but they work. The seller went over and above what I expected for this sale, and is definitely someone I would not hesitate to do business with again. The quality of the HOTAS work perfectly now and are solid, adjustable and absolutely do not move if installed correctly.

Solid, high grade aluminum construction - I swear you could tow a boat with these as a hitch. The lever clamp is flat awesome- 1 second to attach/detach and easily adjusts to whatever exact pressure or thickness you like. No cranking on hand screws or wing nuts, once it's set you just pull the lever and it clamps HARD. They don't move 1mm in any direction over hours of dogfighting. I use TM Warthog, maybe the heaviest throttle there is - no worries at all with these mounts... my bs ikea desk would break first. BEST part is the widely adjustable height for the mounted sticks - I can finally fly with controls down low, and center-stick between my legs like it should be instead of up on the desk. Simple, elegant, and excellent machining work. Worth every penny.
