works fine
It works as it should. My order must have fell through the cracks, as it took quite awhile to arrive. I had to buy one at a local auto parts store. Now this one is a spare.4 stars only due to time. Product looks good.

Good product that works
I needed a short extension so I can tie off the wiring to my trailer. I have issues where the wires would work loose and get under my ball on the hitch. If things worked out in just the wrong way, the nut below the ball would cut the trailer wires. This happened and it was able to be fixed but I want to avoid this in the future. I now have the trailer wires bundled and secured with this running to my vehicle. If something works loose this wire will get cut, not the trailer wire directly. This is good because this was inexpensive and easy to replace if it cannot be fixed. Also, if if something happens to it while on a trip, in an just run my trailer wires without it to the vehicle to get home. At this price I will probably get a backup just in case. These work well. All the lights work and there are no issues. I will not be leaving this out to be exposed to the elements so I expect it to last.Just learn from my mistake and use zip ties to make sure all the wiring is secure. I used bungee cords and the bumps along the way can let the wires slip free.Bottom line, if you need an extension wire for any reason this works very well. It is not expensive so it can be replaced if something happens due to negligence or just inexperience. It is a good, solid product.

Off on spacing
Although with a little WD-40 and some muscle, you can get the plug into the receiver on the truck. Same problem at the other end. It is manufactured slightly smaller therefore the tight fit. Because the prongs are set in rubber, they will give enough to jam it in place.

It works well
Attached a light bar to the hitch bed extender. So when I carry my kayaks at night, I’m seen from way back there.

Easier than I thought it would be
I used this wire to add a trailer plug setup to a 2002 E350 van. I snipped the end off the wire and spliced it into the factory end located under the chassis. This process was far easier than I thought it would be and I'd recommend this for anyone who wants to add trailer lights to their E350 van. So much more affordable than getting the 'official' adapter or having a professional wire it up.

Light duty but gets the job done.
Plugs are a little stiff to put on but I don’t expect them to come loose either.I like the cap it came with for storage.

How to connect
Not easy to install because the pieces must be deplace a little bit.
