TachikaraTP20 Dual-Action Inflation Pump, Black

This is an excellent pump for easy, everyday use. This past weekend, I inflated 3 basketball, 3 backyard just-to-kick-around balls, and 4 tires on my kids bikes in a little more than 5 minutes. It was super easy and quick. I used to use the electric air compressor that we have for filing the car tires, and that took forever because it is big and bulky and needed to be plugged in with extension cord. It was a pain and much more powerful than I needed. This portable one is quicker and easier to use and actually saves time.The pump comes with a short attachment for the bike tires so you can get in between the spokes, and YES THERE IS A NEEDLE for basketballs and the like. The needle is tucked under a rubber insert on the top of the pump. Just pull on the little tab and grab the needle, or flip it over if you can reach out. It's a great way to package it because it keeps the needle with the pump and safe from being bent. The plastic wrap it comes in I'd study so you can keep the bike attachment and pump together. It snaps closed. Some and safe all together.I originally returned my first one because of no needle. When the 2nd one came with (I thought) no needle, I figured it has to be me, and fumbled around til I found it. I highly recommend this. I got another one and keep one in the garage with the bucket of balls, and one in the car in case we are traveling with bikes. For the price, size and convenience, can't beat it!

I bought this pump awhile ago so I wanted to give it some time and adequate use before reviewing. My sons participate in soccer, basketball and flag football, and I'd find it frustrating to have flat or partially flat balls when we would go to practices. I researched many pumps and came across the Tachikara TP20. It is great. We've been using it for 18 months now, and it works beautifully and quickly. We've even had other parents ask us where we got it because it's effective and the portability makes it a great choice. We have never had an issue with it.I also like the compartment for the needle. We usually leave the needle on, but if you want to store the one that comes with the pump (it will be in the compartment when you get it), or you want to store spare needle, there is a place for it. Highly recommended! I would purchase again.

Did not come with needle, but Amazon exchange was super easy. Amazon shipped it next day and I gave my return to the post man. It is not that big of a hassle to return items as stated in some other reviews. Although it would have gotten 5 stars from me if I didn't have to return it. Even if I couldn't return it, I could have gone to wal-mart and gotten a pack of needles for $3.Overall a nice pump for the price (~$10). Small enough to leave in a backpack and durable.

I’ve had this pump for 8 years, and it still works. I’ve had other ones where they stop working after a few months. It’s better than sports brand pumps. My husband has a Nike pump, but he always uses this one. The dual action feature is particularly useful, as it cuts down inflation time. One of my favorite features, which I haven’t seen on other pumps, is the storage for the needle. I highly recommend this. Excellent value and performance.

I bought this to use with the BOB Revolution SE stroller and I'm glad I did. The price is excellent (about half as much as other I was looking at) and it works great. We've had to use it a few times and its always quick and easy. It takes a lot less time to inflate the tires than I thought it would, and its very easy to asemble and use. I also have the Diono stroller caddy and was hoping it would fit in the zipper pocket, but it doesn't quite fit. Still, it's a great product and I'm very happy with the purchase.

I like this inexpensive pump better than the one I had before,which was red plastic, cheaper, worked fine, but I misplaced it,so I bought this one.This one has dual action, which works great. Every single strokeputs air in. (For a pump without dual action, which is the onlykind I ever had before this - every OTHER strokeputs air in). Dual action is an EXCELLENT design for a hand powered pump.It comes with both a bicycle fitting, and a needle.But the needle was hidden inside a screw off cap,so at first I did not find the needle, and started to return the item.But then I saw, the needle was there. Very happy with this pump.Durability is fine for me since I use it only about once a month.It's not like military grade, but I expect it to last me for years.

Well, "constantly" might be an overstatement. This little pump has it's own spot where it lives in the garage. From soccer balls to footballs to a basketball, I'm shocked by how frequently we do need a ball-pump, and this one works great!I replaced a really cheap ball-pump that broke (too easily, in my opinion) when the wrong 2 year old thought it would be fun to use the pump like a golf club. This newer pump lives in a higher spot in the garage, but it also feels like it's designed and constructed for many years of dependable use. It's also much smaller than I though it would be, and it's easy to throw in the bag to bring to games or the park.I would recommend this product to others.

This pump is absolutely perfect for my daughter's volleyball! Luv that the pin has a protective spot right in the handle of the pump so it is always available. Plus the pump does work both ways and it is just the perfect size to carry in her bag. Can totally tell that it is made specifically for volleyballs. Thanks Tachikara!

Buen producto. Infla bastante bien y trae todo lo necesario para usarla sacándola del empaque. El material es de plástico, y aunque se ve de buena calidad, dudo que sea tan duradera como otros materiales. Sin embargo cumple con su función de manera adecuada. Trae una pequeña funda de plástico para protegerla un poco y que los accesorios no se pierdan. Es de buen tamaño y no es nada estorbosa (no te quita nada de espacio en la cajuela del auto).El envío llego en la fecha estimada y en buenas condiciones.
