Fairly sturdy fabric, not sure of the catch
The fabric of this collar seems fairly robust. I could not undo the catch, so made the collar as large as possible and popped it over my cat's head, and then tightened it up. Maybe I did not have it tight enough when I first put it on my cat's neck, but she did not like the collar, was very unhappy with it and somehow managed to spring the catch open, which I could not do! I put the collar back on, but tightened it up a little and it has stayed on so far.BUT, she is still catching birds, so the little bell is not effective. It does ring, snd the whole point for us of having a cat collar with bell was to stop her from catching birds, but she is still catching them. The bell rings, but somehow it is not warning the birds! She is a great bird (and mouse) catcher unfortunately, she was semi ferral as a kitten ( I got her from an animal sanctuary) so maybe her habits are ingrained and no way of stopping them.

Cat killed it in 2 days
Didn't stand up well. My cat had it shredded and tangled within 2 days I had to take it off her as it was a mess maybe better for an indoor cat.

Sort of disappointing
Was kind of disappointed with this collar. My cat only had it on for 2 weeks and it's pretty destroyed from his claws, was a very nice colour though and came quickly!

Colors NOT true, but truly disappointing. My cat's neck is 10", and this supposed 12" is tight
The color on Amazon looks like a deep purple -- the blue-ish purple often used by teams like the Baltimore Ravens, or colleges like TCU, LSU, Clemson, or even the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club. What I got was something more like a dark magenta. It's not a true purple. It's nowhere near what one would consider "purple" other than being some version of a lot of red and a little blue. The only "true" about this color is that it is truly disappointing. The green one I ordered was the same shade as the picture, although I think it came from a different vendor.
