Winsor & Newton Artisan Water Mixable Oil Color Paint, Starter Set, 0.71-oz (21ml) Tubes, Set of 6

I have only used water soluble oil paints as the smell is not toxic. The colors of artisan are really good and the consistency is fantastic. Highly recommended.

Thr tubes are tiny, much smaller than expected.

A great product in my opinion. For smaller work I find the 21 ml tubes to be about perfect in size.

Grabbed these for some plein air painting on vacation. flight involved so I didnt want to have to deal with finding solvents and disposing of them. All in all the paints seemed pretty good, I dont yet have a feel for water as solvent so I'm not as reflexive with the mixing as I am with trad oils. But aside from that pretty small learning curve they were good. amazon asks to rank as 'giftable' I'd say meh for that unless you know the person like water mixables or if is the first paint they use maybe?

Pricey for what it is. And the product seems to behave like "You know what would be good? Some turpentine."
