Quick chopper!!
I am so happy with this product! I have always been an OXO fan, and this does not disappoint! I specifically wanted one that only diced, and this fit the bill perfectly. I like the "dump" feature in the back of the chopper, when I am chopping a lot of veggies, I don't have to fiddle with it, pull it apart and put it back together again. One piece of advice if you purchase this. I use a toothbrush to clean the blades if I'm not putting it in the dishwasher. I find it safer. But... very dishwasher friendly!!!

Easy to clean and use
Easy to use and easy to clean as it can be disassembled and placed in the dishwasher. The device chops well. I have used it for carrots, celery, tomato and onions so far. The only compliant I have is that to get everything out of the bottom, you really need to disassemble the unit. This makes it a bit inconvenient to use for multiple items for a single meal. (Not a major problem, just one that I wish wasn't a problem.)

Better than we thought. . .using often
My hubs makes red beans and rice, chili and a few other dishes and he asked me to order this particular product. We love it. I can't believe how much we use it. It's super handy and I love the open pour situation on the end. Super quality, size, blade is sharp, great OXO product. It even fits in my island drawer so it's super handy as well. I enjoy chopping veggies, it's therapeutic. But, sometimes I'm in a hurry. This does the trick.

Does not cut some onions and veggies small enough
Very pleased with the brand, the look and operation of the product, however, chopper only cuts onions and other veggies at a certain size which is a larger size especially on onions than I want. Seems to be a good quality, easy to use and has a sharp blade.

IMO a little big for onion chunks. But... There are Hacks!! EDIT!
Works Well! VERY SHARP!! For me the onion cubes were a bit large but NOT a disqualifier. I found the perfect use is for diced potatoes!! Slice your potato as thick as the squares of the cutter and they some out perfect!! Works well with apple slices too!! Pro-Tip: Slice an onion/potato/green pepper as thick as the squares place your hand over the open end when done chopping and shake vigorously! Then dump into skillet to fry! I have to look and see if OXO has different size cutters so I don't need to buy a whole new setup... My only issue w/ this chopper is a bit of difficulty separating the parts for cleaning. Especially with wet hands. It's hard to pull them apart. Pressing that little tab ain't so easy. The grid cleaner insert is a nice touch though. This is a real value for the money Hands Down. -- EDIT: Mine broke. A blade separated. Put in for a return and had another one literally the next day. I think I just had a tough onion. Poop happens. One last issue. The cover won't stay upright/open in use. No big issue... Just wanted to mention it. I still give it 5 *'s...

Can't handle large onions
I bought this specifically to dice the large yellow onions I cook with virtually every night, but it can't do the job. If you trim the ends and outer layer from a large onion and stand it in the device like the instructions say, it won't fit. If you cut the onion in half and put each flat side down, the blades are not sharp enough to cut through the top layers of onion skin. Worse, what does cut comes out in 1/2" chunks, so big I had to dump them onto my cutting board and hand cut them further for a dice. This device may work for soft fruit or vegetables, but definitely not for more challenging ones with tougher skins. A very rare failed OXO product. Am returning it.

Very impressed!
I purchased this chopper to hopefully make processing my onions and peppers quicker. I'm kicking myself that I didn't get one years ago. It makes chopping them super quick. The 3/8" size is just right. They don't get lost in the meal for being cut to small. Quick cleanup too.
