Woody's Pomade, 3.4 Ounce

Woody's Pomade is the same as the formerly labeled Woody's Headwax Hemp. I was afraid that they stopped selling it, so I'm thrilled it's still around just under a new name.This pomade smells fresh (my fiancee loves it), gives my hair a good shine, and holds well. It's like putting a little gel in your hands then rubbing it through your hair, only without that cheap hairspray smell that I've encountered with several hair gel makers. Not to mention it doesn't flake!My hair is VERY sensitive to this. Whenever I used to use regular old store bought hair gel, it would make my hair very hard as it dried and if I ran my hand through it, it would flake. Even Woody's No Flake Gel flaked on me!When I wrote Woody's about it, that's when they introduced me to the Woody's Headwax Web, which is also a great product that does not flake. It's like the pomade, only a silky creme with a matte finish.But there's one big reason why I prefer the pomade over web... winter shipping. Woody's Web has a bad problem that when exposed to cold the creme inside the jar becomes hard like clay and basically rendered the product useless. Living in a cold weather environment as I do, this problem happened to me several times when ordering during the winter months and I had to go through the hassle of contacting the store and having them ship me a new one. The pomade does not have this issue.I highly recommend this product to anyone!

First had this on my head when I saw my hairdresser a couple months back. She was trying it out and received great feedback from her customers so I was the next to try it. Since I only see her once a month and she wasn't expected to have a shipment until my following month's visit, I picked some up from Amazon so I could use it right away as I liked it that much.It's lightweight, smells great and has great hold and shine without being too oily. I was formerly using American Crew Pomade and found that sometimes it was just too heavy and left a residue on my skin that would cause me to break out mildly at times but have not had this experience with Woody's. I have short, bleached-blonde hair so I'm particular about what I put on my head as being that my hair is porous in it's bleached state I don't like it to get weighed down and I also don't like products that will dry it out as that makes for some fly-away strands that just look crappy. This does the job just perfectly!

I had pretty much abandoned hair products after high school cause they either did nothing for my very thick, very wavy hair, or they made me look like a stegasaurus. Not so with this stuff, it holds my hair together very well, letting it still be wavy, look natural and not look like a q-tip. It also smells pretty good.

Best pomade that I have ever used. Use on damp hair and style with hair brush. The product washes off easily and you don't end up feeling gross even if you go for a run with this product on. I usually go the gym, sweat a lot and my hair doesn't move. No crunchiness either, it stays soft all day but with decent hold.

It smells a little strong at first but the smell goes away fairly quick.It holds really well, and is very easy to work with, and easy to wash off your hands.So far I have no complaints.

I Love this stuff. It's a light pricey, but works well, smells fresh and leaves no shine. It also washes out easily.

Just a great pomade. Not greasy, holds well and smells nice. I like it.

just does not do much

I liked the product for the hold but not the smell. Not a bad smell just for me personally I didn't care for it but I’d still use it. Don’t hesitate to buy it as thats just a personal preference.

Bonne consistance, effet mouillé, les cheveux restent modifiables (ça devient pas tout dur, comme des gels normaux). Odeur très agréable, mais masculine! (ça sent un peu le romarin, c'est intéressant)
