I’m not that girl that can skip a day washing my hair. I have to use hair fibers, dry shampoo and root boosters the works! I have extremely fine thin hair and a cowlick in the back so I can’t venture out without putting a ton of product in it. I tried this out because my hair stylist used it and I flippin love it!! My hair looks great day two and it smells amazing. I work in a hibachi restaurant where you smell nothing but hibachi it’s a very strong smell but all night long I could smell my hair and it smells sooo good lol not overwhelming but you will catch the scent throughout the day. I’d definitely recommend to anyone with fine thin flat hair.

Does what it says it will do. And it lasts through the day. I really like how it adds shine. The only negative is the strong almost chemical scent. But it works so well I’ll probably buy it again.

I love this product. I have short, thin hair and this product helps give me the lift I need. It’s got a nice smell, not sticky or heavy and you don’t need to use a lot to get good results.

Spray bottle was missing its screw-on top, making it impossible to spray the product on my hair. It was a reorder, so I’ll use the previous bottles spray mechanism which still had a bit left in the bottle, or I would have taken off more stars. It’s so obvious the bottle is missing its cap, it should not have been shipped to a customer!

Excellent product!! Gives so much volume, gives shine and a finished look. Have used for three years and am never without. Apply at your roots and dry and style; you will see the difference!!

The bottle on the left is the old root lifting spray that Matrix had in the 80's and 90s. The bottle on the right is supposedly the same thing, but I'm writing this to tell you it definitely isn't. When I used the new one, it was like spraying oily water on my hair. I lifted the hair up as I sprayed, but it just flopped back down again. By the time I finished spraying all of my hair, it was sopping wet and made a noise like it had shampoo in it. I ended up having to rinse it out. The bottle on the left of the photo which is the old one, I got from a retail website. It's kind of old but I was shocked to find that it works the exact same way it did when I used it almost 30 years ago. The scent is the same too. How would I know that after all this time you ask? Well there are just some things you don't forget, and good hair products is one of them, especially now, since you just can't find good hair products anymore. When I found this new version, I thought it was the same. Matrix said it was the same formula but a different look, but it really isn't the same. Great hair products, hairdressers who gave great haircuts, and mass market paperback books, they're all a thing of the past. It's a sad thing.

Tengo el pelo muy liso y fino y, hasta ahora, no había encontrado ningún ahuecado de raíces que realmente funcionase. He usado espumas, polvos, etc y, en mi caso, no me hacían absolutamente nada. Lo he aplicado tras la var el pelo en las raíces, masaje ando por todo el cuero cabelludo y el resultado es fantástico. Además el pelo me ha durado 1 día adicional sin tenerlo que lavar. Lo recomiento

Ottimo prodotto! Io ho i capelli molto sottili che tendono ad essere piatti e con tutti gli altri prodotti, e soprattutto le schiume volumizzanti, si appesantiscono e con l’umidità poi creano un effetto ”appiccicaticcio”. Questo spray Matrix è l’unico che riesca a dare un bellissimo volume a tutta la capigliatura, senza appesantire e creando un effetto molto naturale e duraturo. Consigliatissimo!
