I was going to buy a laptop until I came across mini PCs which seem to offer a much better solution and value for money. It has allowed me to do away with an old tower system in the small bedroom and make better use of the space by removing the desk and all the other peripherals.I initially set it up as Wi-Fi and then switched over to my LAN wired system and both work fine.I considered many different Mini PCs and eventually opted for this one as it had a higher specification than basic mini PCs, I had considered buying a mini PC with a ryzen 5 chip but I don't play games on the PC and don't need all the extra functionality.This mini PC was easy to setup and after a few settings changes it's working to my preferences. I also bought a wireless keyboard and mouse which were picked up immediately and have been working fine too. I've got a decent picture on my TV screen although I had to make some settings changes to make it fit the screen properly.I've connected it through my home cinema amplifier to the TV using hdmi so I can get surround sound when playing movies from my NAS drive, this has been working fine but it means I have to have the amplifier switched on to use the PC so I should have chosen a mini with two HDMI outputs but this is only a minor issue.This little PC is unobtrusive and works fine, i am happy to have gone with this option rather than a laptop.

Having looked at several mini PCs, I opted for this CK2 with an Intel Core i5 and 8 GB RAM. I have been using it for four months, and I am very pleased with its performance. I do not play games, so I cannot comment on its gaming capabilities. However, for browsing, web calls, and office applications, it is excellent. I particularly like having six USB ports. I subsequently upgraded this mini PC with a 500 GB SSD, which was very easy to fit.

It's very simple to set up, but remember you need a keyboard and mouse. I'm using a wireless mouse and portable keyboard which worked perfectly from the off.Takes about 10 minutes to set up as you would any PC, but once set up its just the sane as any PC but much smaller and portable too.I'm using murine running through my mini projector but it'll work with any other screen or TV with a HDMI.. I managed to set it up in a few minutes.2. It runs smooth even with a lot of tabs open.3. Quiet when running compare to my old desktop.4. It is easy to be placed anywhere. It comes with a support to attach it to the back of a screen or on the Wall. I was looking for something it didn't take lots of space on the desk.5. Lots of conectors for your main devices (USB, USBC, LAN, HDMI and audio) built in wifi(dual band) and bluetooth. You can plug multiple devices on it.6. It is very light weight and small, so you can take it with you during weekends out or even on holidays.7. It can be used for light gaming, not for highly demanded specs games though.

I bought this mini PC as I needed a fairly cheap upgrade from an old laptop, had spacing issues and had a gaming setup in place already, so after lots of research this PC seemed to be perfect. I purchased the 8GB RAM version and so far I have had zero issues with it using it for college work or casual entertainment like watching YouTube and Twitch live streams. I have yet to try it for any gaming but I imagine it’s capable of compatible emulation and running very old games.A solid purchase and I am pleased at the performance!!

It can take a while installing Linux will require patients and time ubontu works well and it is f7 to boot Linux distros of a usb thumb drive.

Well worth the money, worked as it should it was quick and installed everything without a problem quiet small tidy. pleased with it
