Poor Instructions for AMD Sockets
According to the instruction, there should be 4 screws with springs on it, however, I found none in the package. Also, according to the instruction, there should be a dedicated back panel for AM4 socket, and it was not included in my package. So I had to re-use my old back panel and it does the job. So I guess they somehow changed the design so the accessories are different from previous versions, but forgot to update the instructions accordingly. It seems pretty easy and straightforward for Intel users, but kinda confusing for AMD sockets. Hope they update the instructions and make it more AMD-friendly.Other than that, it is a really good budget CPU cooler. It keeps my Ryzen 5 5600x under 72C with Cinebench R23 running. It was 95C with AMD stock cooler.

Great cooler
I purchased this cooler for a Ryzen 5 5600X. It cools the CPU. I got it mainly for aesthetics & cost. Installation was very simple even though motherboard was already mounted in a case.

Does not come with a second set of clips to add another fan
-The cooler looks good (In the all black version that I purchased.*Included fan was loud for my taste-Performance:Temps were just 'OK'. my Corsair H100i 240mm closed loop radiator that I swapped it with was over 20*C cooler and quieter under Prime95 stress test when compared with this cooler when it had the fan that came with this. Lots of people probably think "no duh! Why would you think this would compare? The answer is that the new trend in reviews are showing traditional air coolers are actually quieter with the right fans, competitive for temps, and more reliable than closed loop liquid coolers No pumps to break, or possible leaks, etc.) A competing 120 mm cooler I wanted reviewed favorably against my 100i (quieter, almost the same temps) so I gambled to save money to buy this cooler and add the competitors fan to save $20.00. My results? This fan was louder (see my other thoughts), hotter, and just didn't deliver. Saving a few bucks didn't work for me. To further drop the temps on this, I had expected to be able to add a second fan.Other thoughts... I bought another well known, quiet, brand of fan to replace the stock fan on this. This was planned in advance. With my other famously awesome fan brand rhyming with Moctua, this thing had the volume go from annoying to silent under stress test, with virtually no change in temps from the stock fan this came with. I WANTED to put TWO fans on this thing in a push-pull config, and they didn't include a second set of the CHEAP wire clips (come on guys, they cost a half a penny to throw them in!) I looked online, and can't find where to find these clips ANYWHERE. They don't seem to sell them on amazon. There is literally NO reason to not include a second set of fan clips for people wanting to add another fan. This is the MAIN reason I knocked it down 2 stars in my review. For the price, this could have been a five star product for a budget builder; the fan noise could have been forgiven for the price, and I expect the temps would be 10*C better with another fan, and that would mitigate the slightly hotter than expected temps. My temps are about 37*C at idle on my 8700K with the stock fan. The 100i was 33*C. At load the 100i hit a max temp of 67*C... On this cooler, my 8700K hits over 80*C and the high-pitched fan noise is way more noticeable than all 4 fans on my 100i running full blast. By replacing the fan for the very famous fan brand -you all know which one -the temps were hitting upper 70's (probably within margin of error of old fan) but the fan sound was a nearly inaudible, soft swish (no vibrating/ high pitch sounds). I still am trying to find another set of fan clips and get another of these silent awesome fans, and then see how it works. I am hoping for another 7-10*C drop at full load, which should put me within 5*C of my 100i closed loop, while being quieter and more reliable in the process. If I am right, I will update my review to add another star back. If I am wrong, the review will stay as is, and I would recommend another brand for anything except using this for budget builds. It is really solid for replacing stock coolers. I guarantee it beats the stock coolers that come included with any Intel or AMD CPU, so that part of this is a big positive, and again, it looks great for a cheap air cooler in all black.

Good, quiet cooling, but can be hard to install
The instructions were mostly pictures and don't explain everything clearly. I was able to get everything connected and mounted after about 10 minutes. The fan itself is quiet and moves lots of air. Overall a good value for the money. Would buy again.

ONCE I FIGURED OUT THE MOUNTING SYSTEM IT INSTALLED WELL AND COOLS VERY WELL.IT WORKS VERY WELL FOR THE MONEY. THE INSTRUCTIONS WERE A LITTLE LACKING.

Great replacement for Wraith Cooler (5600x)
Recently got a 5600x after a long wait for the Price drop. Tried it with the provided Wraith cooler as well as the one from my old 2600x, which has a larger heatsink. Both hit close to 90C on load when gaming. My case does not have side ventilation (only front > back airflow) so the wraith cooler wasn't cutting it.Got this for $25 - installation is really easy and it dropped my temps about 15C when idling and on load. Huge improvement for the price.I had spare Arctic Silver 5 so can't speak to the quality of the provided thermal paste. The LED is quite bright and looks pretty rad, even if it doesn't make sense for my case. The fan and heatsink seem to be decent quality.Definitely a great buy for a gaming CPU with TDP 65w or lower.

Good product, put be aware that it may not fit in your pc box
it doesn't fit in my micro pc case. it is about 5mm too tall; it worked for another of my PC which has a much larger box. But fan itself has no problem, I wish I known before buying ---

AMO este producto
Quedo muy bien este cooler para mi CPU tengo un amd 5600X y esta muy bien ventilado a pesar del calor que esta haciendo

Ok for its price
Easy to install and all that but the fan doesn't push much for air through the radiator fins to keep it cool . I can barely feel any airflow on the other side.
