Adapter case seems worn, but it works great. Customer service good as well.
On Amazon, they've got the market cornered. If you want to power a Canon photo/video device from a C-port on a PD, it's what you need. I record youth sporting events. Worked great for the first two sessions, but during the 3rd, it worked after multiple connection attempts. On the 4th, it was DOA. When it works, you'll want to kick yourself for buying an extra battery.UPDATE 2/20/22 - Billy from BlindSpot contacted me and is sending a replacement for the failed unit, will add to this review upon receipt and testing.Update 2/23/22 - Billy from BlindSpot sent replacement and it was received. The replacement works great, Billy provided great customer service. I'll be back if I need something else.

Works for my Sony a6600 with a 15V 3A power supply, but not with a 15V 3A power bank
As described on the product page with 9V 3A minimum PD requirement, I could not get this product to work at all for my Sony a6600. But I kept trying different combinations of power sources, and finally found it to work at 15V 3A with a power supply. However, it would not work at 15V 3A with a power bank. Here's my setup. I'm using this Power Pipe 8.4V to connect a USB-C power source (either a power bank or power supply) to a Sony NP-FZ100 Dummy Battery (also from Blind Spot Gear - https://www.amazon.com/Power-Junkie-Adapter-Sony-NP-FZ100/dp/B07NF24Q59). The goal is to power my Sony a6600 camera for long periods of time either at my desk (as a webcam) or on the go (for a timelapse). Here is everything I've tried:1. I first noticed a discrepancy in minimum PD requirement with this product page (description says 9V 3A), the Q&A section (seller says 9V 2A should work), and the actual product (plastic tag says 12V 3A - see image 1). Maybe the seller can shed some light here? Anyways, I thought the tag might have a typo, so I tried using it anyways to see if it works.2-3. I tried using two power banks rated for 9V 2A, and they both did not work. The first was a Tronsmart 10,000mAh (see image 2) and the second was a Xiaomi 20,000mAh (see image 3). The Tronsmart wouldn't even turn the camera on. The Xiaomi turns it on, but it immediate says "Battery is exhausted" and turns off. I have no idea why they behave differently.4. Ok, so 9V 2A doesn't work, but maybe 9V 3A will work? I tried using an Apple 87W wall charger rated for 9V 3A (see image 4), and it still did not work. This surprised me since it directly contradicted the claims on the product page.5. Finally, I tried using a HyperJuice 100W wall charger rated for 15V 3A (see image 5), and was surprised to find that it works! It also outputs 9V 3A, but it's the only power source that also outputs 15V 3A. So I assume that's what made it ultimately work.6. I then ordered a 15V 3A power bank (another reviewer suggested https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B082PGS78L) to see if that will work, but it does not (image 6).So in conclusion, for my a6600, I could only get this product to work with a 15V 3A power supply. I could not get any power banks to work.

Provides stable, long-term power
The Power-Pipe provides stable, long-term power.Using the Power Pipe, a RAVPower Portable Charger 20000mAh 60W PD and a dummy battery, I was able to create a timelapse on a Pansonic G85 lasting ~19.5 hours using a 30-second interval at 65F. This provided ~2,350 photographs. By comparison, the internal battery provides ~3.5 hours.Although I can certainly use the circuitry provided with the adapter for the dummy battery for long time-lapses, I prefer the Power Pipe's known, stable power, rather than trusting the unknown cable. Also, the Power Pipe uses a single USB-C connection, rather than two USB-A connections.Note that I had to use an adapter between the Power Pipe's 5.5mm/2.1mm female plug and the dummy battery's female 5.5mm/1.7mm plug. I wish Power Pipe came with this adapter, which would make the connection simple and out of the box.Overall, the Power Pipe does what it says it does and I am comfortable it protects my camera and power bank.

Hit & miss. Good product that relies on bad product s
While the chord is great, the downside is that if you are powering your camera with a dummy battery and something is bumped or loose enough to short the connection you can lose your footage very easily. I was going to use with an x-t3 but the dummy batteries are so cheap that a small bump kept shorting out the camera. Better to charge your camera with a battery inside as a backup.

Perfect connection lead
I have two of these to power any of my Sony A7 cameras when filming jobs where I cannot change the battery but need them to run for longer durations than the standard battery would allow. I Use these with big Anker PD power banks and Power Junkie dummy batteries.
