o.b. Pro Comfort Applicator Free Digital Tampons, Regular Absorbency, 18 Count

i received these free samples of o.b tampons from BzzAgent for an honest review for this product. everytime that I would walk into the store to get some more tampons when it would be that time of month, that your lovely monthly friend would show up. I would look at this box and think how would that work. of course when its that time of month the last thing u think of do I really want to try something new and chance it not to work or that im not comfortable with. I would always just stand in the isle asking myself all these questions then always end up grabbing what im comfortable about grabbing and using. This was my first time using the o.b. tampons brand. I have always been skeptical of this tampon type because it doesn't use an applicator and not knowing exactly how you would put in a tampon without an applicator and get it placed right. However, I used the o.b tampons during my last period and was surprised that's its really not that bad to use but im still trying to get the hang of getting them placed right and then im sure once I get the hang of it I will be highly pleased by the results. I found removing the tampon from its protective plastic to be very easy to do and you don't have the extra trash of the wrapper and the applicator to dispose of and I was happy to know that I was creating less environmental waste by only tossing a tiny piece of plastic away instead of an applicator and wrapper that is so much bigger than a tiny wrapper. On the first day of my period, I was very scared to use these. I kepted looking at them like what am I supposed to do. how am I supposed to insert this and have it placed correctly. I hadn't read the directions yet, which I should have done first. I would say next time read the directions first that would have helped me out, if I would have then I would have known how to pull the tampon string in all directions as the package tells you how to do this properly, this helps get the tampon ready and how you need it to be and widening the base of the tampon. the first day I tried this, I experienced leaks which I expected not knowing if I had it placed right, when a regular absorbency or a light absorbency tampon can usually work for me for my period since I tend to go very light anyways. I was really disappointed. But after reading the instructions a few times and sitting and playing with one of the tampons. lol yes I sat and messed with one to figure it out, I know have a good idea on how to get it started properly. when going from using an applicator to Without an applicator it is a bit of a difference on the insertion until you get the hang of it, I expected the o.b. tampons would be messy and uncomfortable, but they're not that uncomfortable. the messy part well once I get more of a hang of it I think I wont be having blood on me putting it in! After much consideration and my determination, im willing to continue to try the o.b. tampons until I fully get the hang of these. they did seem to feel comfortable when it was in. like a different material then a regular tampon. I actually cant say which I liked better these non applicator or the applicator tampons. I did some price comparison at the store yesterday and found these are not a bad deal for the amount that you get. I'm so happy to have gotten the chance to try the o.b. brand tampons! also the carrying case for the tampons is super cute small and discreet it can hold some of these tampons which makes it nice not having to sit in the bathroom out in public digging around in your purse looking for a tampon when needed. these are nice to place in a pocket or a small place in your purse for easy access. I definitely would continue to give these another try and see if I can say I really like these better but im willing to keep trying them. I like all the pros about it, that I have found so far. there are pros and cons over any product that you use but everyones body is different and when one person it might not have worked for them and that they never want to use it again or you have someone that loved it then you try it and you have a completely different opinion. the way I see it is it never hurts to try something new. I would always have my regular tampons that I would use and then when I go to try something else then I always have a back up rather I ran out. or my flow is lighter this month then what it usually is at. or my flow is a little heavier that I need to switch it up. one way or another I would definitely give these a chance and you might just love them. with me I just didn't get the hang of it immediately cuz I didn't read the instructions at first. either way be patient and don't give up unless u absolutely don't like it. the first time I used these I wasn't to thrilled but then realized I didn't have it properly in. so im going to try it again. #Gotitfree

So I recieved this product as a free sample from BzzAgent. I was only able to finally give them a try now. Before this I had never heard of the brand, and my only experience were the ones with the plastic applicators. Personally I disliked these. These o.b. Pro Comforts I was a little leery of, mainly because of how different they are from what I'm used to seeing. I have to say though, upon further examination I was pleasantly pleased with them. I like how little plastic materials were used on this. I also love how they're so small and discreet I could easily just slip it into my hand with no one the wiser (which I did do and even after stopping to talk to several people on the way to the bathroom no one even noticed). I also like how little plastic wrapping there is around these. I hate going into a public stall and having to open a feminine product with all that loud plastic surrounding it. People KNOW what you're doing just from the sound of it. These tampons have none of that, and it was so simple to just unwrap it, open it and insert it. And inserting I found to easier and not as painful as normal plastic applicators. The tampon was barely even noticeable once inside. For me however, it didn't hold anything in real well. I personally was still forced to use a pad. After a few days of using them I did abandon them in favour of my pads. I think this is an issue with me though, and not an issue with the product itself. They'd be great for someone with a normal flow and no personal problems!**I received this product free in exchange for my honest review.**

This was my first time trying o.b. Tampons and a non-applicator tampon. Although the o.b. Tampons had some features I enjoyed, the small size; helping the environment by producing less waste; and that they are by a female gynecologist, I will not be replacing the traditional plastic applicator tampons I usually use. Creature of habit maybe but these just aren't the tampons for me.I wouldn't necessarily say they are "mess free" because without the applicator, you have to get "get dirty". I prefer not having to stick my finger up there, to insert a tampon. However, the tiny size If the on tampon was appealing and I loved the cute little blue carrying case, which holds about 4-5 tampons and is very nice in my more than full purse. The coverage/protection was good and did last for the suggested 8 hours, but on a heavy flow day I did miss not having the built in backup braid that I'm used to for the extra leak protection. Once I got the hang of it, they were comfortable enough to wear. For people that find it hard to insert a tampon with an applicator, this is the product to try. Maybe good for teens. These were not as advertised. Regular o.b. tampons, not SilkTouch & way over priced! Not happy with this purchase.

I received these from BzzAgent for free to try them, I tried them and they work great. I must admit I was a little intimidated by the fact these had no applicator but after reading the directions and trying them they work wonderfully. Since they don't have a applicator they are very small and that makes it so easy to take along in almost anything even a back pocket.

o.b. tampons are great and I love them, but this is a ridiculous price for an 18 count box. You can buy a 40 count at Walmart or Target less than this.
