Men against nature
A wonderful video of man against the elements.I used to have the VHS of this and we would show it at our sailing club to either inspire people or to show them that they probably shouldn't aspire to joining a round the world yacht race!Others complain about the quality. Well in those days they didn't have HD and even the original recorder wouldn't be very good quality.As a record it is almost one of a kind so i for one am glad that they took the trouble to make a video so that the rest of us can see just what an inhospitable place the Southern Ocean is.

Homemade VHS Transfer?
Loved this video as a kid on VHS. Looked years back for it on DVD and couldn't find it. Was so excited when I saw it was available on DVD now. I was hoping for some increase in quality from my VHS copy from so many years ago. It looks like somebody at home made a digital transfer from VHS to DVD. Even the disc is a DVD-R with the printable white surface and the menu is just a plain text menu from a cheap DVD movie burner program. But at least I have a copy of this video again that is easily watched. The box and cover insert are decent quality I guess. I guess that's what you get from a small independent niche video company.

FRAUDULENT RIP FROM OLD VHS SOURCE!
Would have returned, but probably waited too long. Also, even though this is a fraudulent product; I have not managed to locate a legitimate one. Remember seeing this on VHS a couple decades ago. Real cool to have if you are into Duran Duran and/or Simon Le Bon. This is a cool story.THIS IS A BAD QUALITY RIP FROM SHAKY VHS TAPE THAT WAS BURNED ON A DVDR. POOR QUALITY DVD MENU. WHOEVER STOLE AND BURNED DIDN'T EVEN ATTEMPT ANY SEMBLANCE OF QUALITY.

Terrible audio
The video was great but the audio portion was terrible. Sounded like the battery was running low while filming and recording the music.
