Not what I expected
If you want good southern cooking that reminds you of home this is not what you want. To me it's just a bunch of fancy recipes no one makes, not in real life.

I would rather have the actual magazine in print
Since this is mostly filled with recipes, I found it extremely difficult to actual duplicate the recipes. There was no way to print out the recipes to have on the counter next me and my tablet would have become dirty very quickly (flour, butter, etc. on the screen).I'll be cancelling this. I gave it a try b/c of a free trial I was offered. Online magazines are just not for me.

I'm not a fan of magazines...this one an exception. Never fails to motivate me to the kitchen to try something new. Nobody cooks like they do in the South...so good.

Taste of the South
Taste of the South is a well written out publication with pictures and ads for those that enjoy Southern Comfort Food. A lot of good recipes and stories to keep everyone informed and entertained. Magazine is well worth the subscription price.

One of the BEST!!!
I have ALWAYS loved my Taste of the South magazine. These recipes come from people like you and me. They are time-tested and people-pleasing recipes. Everything from special dinners to the best for that pot-luck and bake sale can be found in these pages. These recipes are easy to follow and will please even the pickiest eaters.If you LOVE good family-style homecooking, then this is the magazine for you.

ALWAYS A WINNER

There are some really great recipes in this magazine series and they are not difficult to follow.
