Womens Original Tall Side Buckle Dog Walking Snow Rain Waterproof Wellington Boot

These are my third pair of polar wellies. They aren't rubber so are very light to wear, there's no seams,so never split or peel. The leg width is neater, not as wide as some makes , so may not be suitable for a heavier calf , but it does mean they don't flap as much on me. I originally bought size 5 and these are roomie in the toe box and over the arch, allowing for a thick or extra pair of socks over winter. I also use an arch supporting insole which stabilises my foot( the boot's insole is perfectly fine if you have no foot issues). I have gone up to a size6 with these as my foot is acting up, so bigger is better at the moment. I walk the dog on average 5 miles daily in the wellies, in long grass, so they're on almost every day because of rain or dew. The heel does wear at around 7 months( I maybe scuff my heels sometimes). Well worth the money compared to other expensive brands. I did buy rubber polar wellies, but found the sizing smaller. The toe box was narrower , the foot area shorter and the boots heavy compared to these synthetic ones.I'll definitely buy this style again.

They are great wellies and there's no issues with them, I would get a size bigger, they difficult to get on for those with bigger calves. But super comfortable to wear, I ordered them for my dog walking.

Narrow in the ankle (luckily I have very skinny ankles). Nice height not too tall. Well made and comfy.

Over the years I've had lots of wellies for dog walking, both expensive brands and cheaper brands. I chose these primarily because of the colour, but they are really sturdy and with thicker socks are very comfortable. Most of all they are fantastic value for money. I've only had them a few days, I can only hope they're robust enough to last the year

01/10/2020 I love the look of these wellies - the ‘straight’, slim look. They feel very comfortable under the soles of my feet and in wet weather they perform exactly as wellies should. I would say that they are very snug round my calves, however. I am a size 10/12 with athletic build - I don’t have super-slim calves, I’m a little out of shape but certainly not what would be considered overweight either. The rim of these wellies is quite tight round my calves wearing over (thin) workout pants - I’m considering whether to make a short snip in the rim to allow a little ‘give’ but obviously concerned this might cause a tear the whole way down the boot. If I do, I’ll update the review with how that went...20/02/2021I’ve been wearing these wellies everyday, twice a day to walk the dogs since I bought them. I didn’t snip around the top edges but I have to say they have definitely eased up around my calves. Given my expanding waistline during lockdowns, I don’t think they’ve eased because I have lost any weight/inches! The boots are still water-tight with no real signs of wear and tear. I would definitely recommend these as a good ‘value for money’ purchase and if you’ve bought these thinking they are too tight I hope this gives you hope that they’ll loosen up over time.

lve had a lot of wellies in my life, having kept horses, chickens, ducks and turkeys. lve paid £100s and a little as £15 for them.These are the 2nd best wellies lve ever had. The Chameau were tops but not everyone can or wants to spend upwards of £150.These reasonably priced wellies are a great fit, nice and snug around the ankle so you're unlikely to lose one of you step into deep sticky mud!the shaft is roomy enough for those of us with calf muscles but not so sloppy you feel like you are going to take off! l hate flappy wellies !they are pretty warm and to make them perfect l recommend you treat yourself to some thermal insoles as like most wellies, the soles aren't the thickest.If they last me a year l will be more than pleased as they do get used almost daily. l live in Scotland and we have a lot of rain, snow and mud.For the price l would say you can't go wrong .

I am a size 5 and I bought size 6.I had high hopes for these wellies and I waited 5 weeks before I wrote this review. They look great and are a good quality material but I had a very hard time getting them on and off. Once they were on they were very comfortable. I hoped they would loosen with wear but they did not. They are so snug fitting on the ankle that my feet got stuck every single time I put them on or tried to get them off. My feet ended up with sock burn on the top from pulling them on and off, my socks were only cotton socks and not very thick, I didn’t attempt to put thicks socks on, there would be zero chance of getting the wellie on. I then bought a wellie remover, this was good at first but it snapped after a week. Now I feel miserable every time I have to put them on. I should have returned them but they are not in a condition to return now as they are all marked from using the remover and other methods to try making it easier.
