I love this set. Brushes come with it uou put water in. Also came with two dry brushes. Nice set and paint is lasting.

This paint rivals the quality of paints costing many times more than the ridiculously low $10.00 cost.Very high pigment load, not at all chalky. Colors are intense, bright and high-spirited.The paint dissolves onto the wet brush so very easily, and the pigment moves across the wet paper the way it should.There are several warm and cool primary and secondary colors, so, if you aren't into mixing your own shades, this set has plenty of color choices, including a couple of very nice botanical greens.However, there are plenty of yellows and blues, including what appears to be quinacridone gold, so you can mix any number of greens if you want.I definitely recommend this kit and probably will purchase again.This paint genuinely outshines all others in its price class, for sure.

I bought this for my college-age daughter and she loved it so much, we bought one for her friend's birthday! A perfect kit of great colors, paint brushes, watercolor pens, pencils, watercolor papers, and not just 2! Highly recommend!!

This was a great introductory watercolor kit for a beginner like myself. The water brushes hold up to heavy use quite well. The paint brush is of surprisingly good quality, too. The paper that comes with the kit is okay, it’s definitely good for practice. Be sure to let it dry completely, otherwise the colors get muddy and the paper starts to deteriorate. The watercolor paints themselves are, overall, a good quality. Some of the colors are a bit easier to work with than others, some spread the pigments better than others, but once you know how each color likes to be worked then you’re good to go! I’ve bought some higher quality “professional” grade paints after practicing with these and I often find myself dipping back into these paints instead of using the professional paints. 100% recommend!Oh, and I’ve found that a great way to clean the water brushes is to add a couple drops of micellar water to some clean water used to fill the brushes. Then shake the brush to mix it. Use a clean cloth or paper towels, squeeze some water out of the brush while moving the brush back and forth across the cloth until the brush is empty and pretty clean. Then fill the brush with clean water and redo the cleaning process. It works great for me with the water brushes, especially because they are 100% synthetic/plastic.

We got these for our daughter and she absolutely loves them. She is 14 and loves to paint, she went from using the crayola small sets to this and the development and quality of her artwork has been night and day. She has started creating some amazing masterpieces that makes me wish I would have had a set like this when I was younger. Great set to pick up for anyone that likes to paint. The water brushes are super neat too.
