Excellent
I really enjoyed this book. It fills an important niche as no Carlsen game books have been published for several years. It contains 32 games, the majority of them in the 2015-2020 time frame. The annotations are deep but mostly not overboard. The author uses the now popular Q&A format, plus at the end of each game a summary of learning points. Also, as per Carlsen's approach, there are many different opening systems included. This book is a must have for the avid chess amateur and serious chess student. Also buy the new Carlsen book by Andrew Soltis (60 memorable games) as there is very little game overlap with the Franco books.

Carlsen is awesome.
The openings are real "power" chess. The moves are not automatic. If the opponent lapses, Magnus is quick to pounce. In addition, if the opponent does not lapse in the opening, Magnus can slowly grind him or her down in the middle game or ending.

Magsy!!!
Fantastic book, at least he tries to win, not like that draw lord Giri. fast shipping. The cover art could be better, you can see his beard follicles, aren't there nicer pics of Mags?? Watch his documentary it's great, I stream it somehow.
