Amazing Amazing!!!!
I can DX all of Europe from the Caribbean with a 7 to 9 reading. Amazing for its price. Using FT-991A and just 18 feet over roof.

Not to impressed
No matter what I try, I can't get low SWR on any of the bands it's supposed to cover. Put up my G5RV and it has much better SWR across bands.

Well Made and Great Performance
I have used this for three years, on all bands, 160 thru 6m, including 30m, 17m, and 12m, obviously with an antenna tuner. It is installed between pine trees at about 20ft elevation. It has been trouble free. Well made. Running 600-700 watts max, as allowed, into it on some bands, have worked 265 countries so far in the three years, which frankly, I never expected to do with a dipole. It is my only antenna. On 40m, no tuner required, good SWR across the band, but other bands need a tuner to cover the bands without excessive SWR. 6m was a surprise and running 100 wts there with 10 countries and 22 states so far - the magic band!. On 160m, using tuner, running 100w, and at the low height, not amazing, but have managed 21 states with it. Heavy duty wires and hardware. Took a half-dozen or more adjustments (inch at a time) to the 20m element to get the SWR low at mid-band, so expect to raise and lower the antenna several times as you install it. Same with the 10m element. 80m, using suggested setup, resonate at 3720, with about 30-40 kc bandwidth, so tuner required for wide band operation. If you haven't picked up on it, if you get this, plan to get a tuner for more enjoyment, like an MFJ-989D or such. Also, if yours comes with a static protector connected between the two antenna terminals, you might want to remove it. I found that if the antenna was loaded off resonance, as it will be when using the tuner to match the transmitter to the antenna, it activated/shorted and was impossible to operate. Removal (easy to do) solved the problem. I have heard from others that theirs, purchased after I bought mine, did not have this installed.Update 8/2018 -. Still working fine. Just made #308 dxcc confirmed with this antenna at 20 ft height.Update 5/2020 - All good, still working fine. Up to #312 now,s so no complaints about this antenna!

Stellar antenna only if you follow manufacturer guidelines
An amazingly great antenna BUT please read up about the install…Alpha Delta has very specific install suggestions that must be followed for the best results…antenna works best elevated well and in the clear !I’ve installed at 35 feet, inverted V on my roof and it is stellar with 100 watts …but please please read up and follow their guidelines so you won’t be disappointedK5HYC

Great multi-band fan dipole
It is well constructed and engineered. Some assembly is required but that is part of the fun. After using a G5RV for years I replaced it with this and never looked back. I have worked VK, JA, Antarctica, south America and of course Europe from Florida. I like it so much.I.bought a second one for a spare/field day.
