I’ve been doing body weight training (BWT) for the past several years. I recently purchased yet another BWT book, and one of the illustrations suggested using a paper plate in order to perform certain kinds of pushups and plank position crunches. In any event, while I found the exercises intriguing, the thought of using paper plates seemed, well, less then ideal. So I searched here on Amazon and came across these nifty sliding exercise disks. The recommendations were overwhelmingly positive, so I decided to pick up a pair and give them a go. I’m glad I did. It absolutely adds whole new aspects to my training, such as horizontal and vertical sliding pushups, numerous different kinds of plank position leg crunches, etc. They’re super versatile, light weight, and very easy to travel with. I definitely recommend getting a pair. I think you’ll be surprised how effective they are at supplementing you’re workouts.

I bought these because it was indicated they will work on rubber gym mats, they absolutely do not! They work great on carpet, however, so I’m going to get a remnant piece of carpet and use them with that.

I use these in my own personal workout and the classes I teach every week. Ive had mine for years and through many use they've help up great. Way better than other brands I've used.

More pricy than other brands, but you get what you pay for. They are study and work well on tile floor. Expect to see some scratches after a few uses, but they still work great if you are looking for another gadget for core workouts at home.

I bought these as a cheaper alternative to Valslide discs ($29.95). They work perfectly for pretty much any exercise you can perform on a pilates reformer (plank progressions, pikes, lunges, etc.) and even an ab wheel (mainly rollouts). It's great that they're double-sided; The fabric side works on both my hardwood floors and EVA foam exercise mat. HOWEVER, I don't use these as often as I had planned to because they catch friction and don't slide effortlessly. Also, considering I haven't used these that much, the fabric is starting to peel off (I am petite, this shouldn't happen). I will probably have to reglue it on if I want to use it more regularly. I glanced at other reviews and other people are having this same problem. All in all, these are fine if you're on a budget or need the fabric side for hard floors. Looking back though, I'd probably buy something else or just get Valslides.

Easy sliders

These are good - really good on carpet, a bit sticky on hard flooring - but a good investment for core work, particularly if you're on the go and want to save on travel space.
