Spring for the pre-waxed
When I couldn’t find citronella candles anywhere this summer and decided to make my own, I started price comparing between these and ones that were not wax coated, and these were only marginally more. Wicks burn so much better/slower/nicer when they are wax coated or borax soaked was the general consensus I found online, so unless you’re putting in the extra work to presoak your own, these are worth purchasing!

I use them for making large candle but they can be trimmed with no fraying.
