I'll skip to the point: this product will not replace broken glass on a Samsung Tab A 2019, the entire screen assembly must be replaced.I first received my order on the scheduled delivery date. It was the wrong product; a screen for some unnamed smartphone. I went through the returns process and received the "correct" product. By the time I received the product in the description I realized that I should have read the other review before purchase...the touch screen digitizer and screen on the 2019 Samsung Tab A SM-T290 are bonded. The glass by itself cannot be replaced. Additionally, the included "tools" are basically toys. This product should not be for sale to consumers.

This replacement glass looks like it would fit the galaxy tab a 8.0 2019. The problem comes with the fact that the digitizer is completely attached to the glass screen. Solidly glued, not just the edges like other samsung phones I have done in the past, so no way to replace just the screen.

Why sell a product that is impossible to use without completely destroying what you are trying to fix? If the outer screen only cannot be replaced, you have no business selling the product.I've replaced the outer screen on other tablets and didn't realize that not all could be done when I ordered this. But after receiving it, I tried to look up videos and instructions only to find out that it couldn't be done. I need a whole assembly, not just the screen.

Changing the glass on a Samsung tablet is a very difficult job and l destroyed mine trying to change the glass. It is not an easy DIY task. This product did not come with even basic instructions.

Can't be used for my samsung galaxy tab A. The digitizer does not come apart from the glass screen . I would say that this is labeled wrong.

It is impossible to replace just the glass on this model of Tab A SM-T290, you need to place the entire LCD Screen.
