Cameras are easy to connect to system. Picture quality is good. Do have to be plugged in to electricity, no battery. Also requires a hard drive to be purchased and installed in base to save video. I installed a 500gb internal HD. Can be set up for continuous or motion detection. Night vision picks up motion out to at least 20 feet with decent picture in total darkness. Overall a good system for the money.

I plugged the NVR module in and then plugged the cameras in and they auto-detected each other. I was nothing short of amazed!Included, you'll find the NVR (which is like the computer) with an AC adapter, mouse, Ethernet cable, four WiFi cameras with AC adapters, mounting fasteners, and user guide.There are a few things that you'll need to consider before getting started: 1) the NVR will need to be near an Ethernet plug (not an issue if you have a WiFi mesh or extra plugs in your router), 2) you will need a hard drive if you want to record the videos, 3) the cameras will need to be near AC outlets (though the cables are ridiculously long), and 4) you'll need a monitor at least to get the configuration set up.Don't let my camera pictures of my monitor fool you, the picture quality is definitely 1080p. The quality is quite good at night, too.The NVR is lightweight but seems very well built. The cameras feel like they are quite durable and could handle outdoor environments for a long time. Each camera is enabled for WiFi, but can also be hard-wired to Ethernet if you would prefer (Ethernet cables for the cameras are not included).Setting up with the phone app is rather easy. Between that and the NVR software, you actually have quite a bit of control over the video, playback, configuration of the screen, notifications, color adjustments, camera controls, volume, network, etc. It appears you can have a total of 8 cameras on one system, which I plan to do.Overall, this is a fantastic quality home or small office security system that is easy to set up at an incredible value. I would purchase it again.

I’ve looked at security systems like ADT and Vivint but the idea of being locked into a contract isn’t really appealing so I just kept putting it off. I knew you could rig your own system but I thought it would run several hundred, if not over $1000. This system is AWESOME. It took a little bit of work to set up but now that it’s up, it’s so ridiculously easy. I can access the camera feed from my computer or my smart phone. I can record video clips, take screen shots, etc. It doesn’t come with a hard drive (which is necessary to record video but not to live stream) but it was super easy to install one into it that we had lying around. It’s been pretty awesome. We have one outside, two inside and another left for wherever we end up putting it. The cameras were pretty easy to install and can be rotated if you want a different angle or position. The night vision is pretty great! It does work better inside than outside for night vision, but amazing regardless! This was one of the best home upgrades we have done! Love it. And it won’t cost us thousands or lock us into a contract.

I have been recently been looking for a surveillance system for my apartment when I came along this product. I have one of toguards dashcam systems so when I noticed they also had a home surveillance system I thought about giving it a try. I'm glad I did they have not let me down. I love the fact that it records in 1080P and it gives you the option to add a wireless antenna (these come with the product) to the set of cameras that they provide. Installing a hard drive is very simple and SATA hard drives are very cheap nowadays so storage at a reasonable price is very easy. setting up the cameras and getting them to communicate properly with the box set is very easy and in addition being able to view footage from your cameras via your smartphone was also surprisingly very easy with the right app. in addition just to test the strength of the Wi-Fi attend as they provide for the cameras I installed one two doors down above my neighbor's door and was still able to receive crisp video from a camera that was pretty far away. Overall I have to say that I am thoroughly impressed with this system and is static that I can get a product of this quality at this price. I can't wait to install this product at my new house within the next couple of months and I have no worries since installation is so easy.

Was able to install 4 cameras in around 3 hours after the hard disk in setup. Clarity is good in day and night. recording is good. Right now its winter and no snow with temperatures of around 35 degrees Fahrenheit and 68 degrees Fahrenheit. Have not seen any issues with these cameras in these temperatures. Would update the review in case have any issues either in extreme temperature days. There are no issues with clarity and reception of the signal. I have setup these cameras within 80 feet of the base station. Motion detection and live view is good you can also view recorded video have no issues with that too. All in all at the price that I have bought this camera its a good deal compared to the others where you have pre installed hard drive.

Je possédais déjà des caméra de surveillance mais d'entrée de gamme et j'en avais assez de la qualité d'image déplorable et des nombreuses déconnexions. Je me suis donc tourné vers ce produit plus "professionnel" et surtout de meilleure qualité, c'est indéniable mais je vais y revenir.Le kit se compose de 4 caméras full HD 1080P, du système de fixation de chaque caméra ainsi qu'une base de centralisation qui vous permettra d'y connecter un écran (nos fourni), une souris (fournie) et un clavier (non fourni).La qualité de fabrication des caméras est remarquable et elles ont l'avantage d'être entièrement en métal ce qui accroit leur résistance ainsi que la tenue aux intempéries, car oui, elles peuvent être positionnées à l'extérieure (norme IP66 / -20℃~50℃).Pour la connectique des caméras, vous avez le choix entre le Wi-Fi, auquel car il faudra utiliser l'alimentation fournie pour chacune des caméras ou alors une connexion via Ethernet PoE qui vous permet de vous passer de cette alimentation car elle se fait via le câble ethernet (Power over Ethernet), à la seule condition que votre box ou routeur soutienne cette norme.Quand à la qualité d'image, je ne suis vraiment pas déçu car on voit vraiment bien les détails que ce soit de jour comme de nuit. C'est relativement logique car le capteur des caméras est plus gros que celles que j'avais auparavant, de même que le capteur infrarouge.Sachez que vous pouvez connecter jusqu'à 8 caméras sur la centrale, ce qui vous permet d'étendre encore vos zones de surveillance en cas de besoin. Bien que les caméras soient fixes (moins de problèmes de motorisation cependant), le champ d'action est relativement large. Les caméras disposent en outre des fonctionnalités habituelles de détection de mouvement, d'envoi d'e-mail d'alerte, etc.Veuillez noter que si vous voulez enregistrer les images en local sur la centrale, il vous faudra installer un disque dur non fourni dans le kit. Mais cela a l'avantage de vous laisser le choix dans la taille de stockage. Pour ma part j'ai installé pour le moment un disque de 2To (Red - spécial NAS), ça me laisse le temps de voir venir. Je vous conseille également de dématérialiser en plus la sauvegarde des images sur le Cloud.J'espère que mon commentaire vous aura été utile. Well, I think I finally found a quality system for an affordable price.The system comes well packaged in a small box, includes the NVR-Network Video Recorder (head unit), 4 cameras and all power cords.What really makes a difference in the installation is the fact that since the cameras are wireless, there is no need to run miles of wire, saving drilling and cost. The cameras do need a power supply to get them running (which you get near where you intend to install the camera), but no additional cables are required to the NVR. This saves major wiring cost and the trouble associated with running wire.The NVR unit is smaller than I expected and takes little space relative to many others. Basically only two main connections are needed – network cable IN and HDMI OUT to a monitor (and oh yes, a USB mouse which is enclosed). The two antennas serve to capture the signals from the 4 included cameras. The unit takes up to 8 cameras, hence offers plenty of room to expand.As soon as the cameras are mounted and plugged in, the NVR captures their signal and the set-up is basically complete. The cameras incorporate a metal shell which offers good protection against the elements and are obviously made to withstand harsh climate. The NVR has all the features and functionality you will find in other more expensive security systems. Once you enter the menu, you will find that making adjustments and fine-tuning to your preferences is easy and intuitive.Once you complete the process, you can access the live feed from a desktop, your phone or tablet. It also incorporates a recording function which can alert you by email, based on the parameters you set., etc. In order to access these features, an optional hard drive is required, which can easily be installed and formatted.The 1080P high definition picture is crystal clear and stable, and the cameras offer nightvision. I set up the entire system on a weekend afternoon and was rather impressed by how simple the entire process was. Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I bought this wireless security camera system to protect my house! because we had recently received a theft alert from our neighbourhood.Firstly I will say the camera build quality and the output resolution are great and it has a great user interface too!Hardly spend no more than 15 minutes to set up if you have power outlets already in the locations you want to place the cameras. provided user manual is very well explained everything, even a newbie can fix this themselves.I tested 2 cameras keeping it outside for two nights to check the hold up over the coming winter and nearly about -8 weather, as you know Ontario is better than other provinces in Canada and fixed 2 cameras inside to check their performance, surprisingly they performed better compared with the inside setup! there is no signal drop and not even a streaming difference as they are just as same as the inside cameras! I really looking forward to testing these cameras at -15 -30 temps! hopefully, they run as same as current weather.Coming to the infrared and motion detection of cameras - The motion detection works perfectly and they will be automatically set on or off depends on the brightness in a room or the outside brightness, each camera got around 32-night vision led lights and they are very powerful, able to produce the colour image even in low brightness.The NVR doesn't have a hard disk and they already mentioned this in their product description! NVR quality looks a bit light due to there is only a circuit board inside and I suggest using an SSD instead of HDD, but I don't know whether it supports SSD or not.! but HDD is fair enough to record such high-quality video, and the more HDD space you got the more days you can get it recorded, NVR has 2 antennas to quickly connect with cameras and each camera has only one wifi antenna but very strong enough to receive the signal even placed outside at around 60 meters! I feel it's good to have a remote instead of controlling with a mouse :P. this NVR has multiple video output ports such as VGA, HDMI, and one more is via LAN where you can control and manage the videos through your mobile device. It has one USB 2.0 port for the mouse and a 3.5mm audio output port when even you can listen to the voices from the cameras.Totally you can setup up to 8 cameras with the existing NVR, but currently, they have 4 cameras in the box.Mobile streaming only works when your NVR is connected via LAN cable to your router or switch other than that cameras can work even without the wifi like the NVR itself work as a bridge to them that's the sweet thing in this product. easily able to control the views from mobile and even with the mouse! the user interface of the product is very clear to understand.I have used a wireless mouse with a USB dongle and it worked perfectly and the inbox provided mouse is somewhat lack quality, If you wish to receive email alerts from the NVR I suggest adding a new email for the security system.Pros1. easy setup2. no cables required3. worth for the money spent4. high definition cameras5.
