External Hard Drive, Ultra Slim Portable Hard Drive HDD USB 3.1 for PC, Mac, Laptop (1TB, Black)

So far, great! I bought two of these for a simple server backup that I rotate out. I chose these due to the fact that I will be bringing them back and forth and leaving in a backpack sometimes in order to provide an offline and offsite backup for my companies server data. This is a secondary backup, so simple USB drives is all I wanted to deal with. I very much like the promise of durability and the package does seem very good for that, as all 4 corners are rubberized nicely.

when a buck was worth more. Now I have a 2-Tb portable hard disc for less than $80.00. Just plugged in the USB to my computer and backed up all of my files. They could also be encrypted if I wanted, save space, but no, I can just look directly into my backup file and see what file I am looking for. I happy, it's a great deal for the price. I backuped 221,076 files in a few hours while I did other work on the same computer. I am happy!

If you have a PC this is truly a plug and play. Instantly ready to receive downloads. It is just as easy as transferring files to a folder. Just put an icon for this unit on your desktop and you are ready. It is well made and has enough weight to not fall over easily. I like it as a desktop device so I can just leave it hooked up at all times. If you have a Mac, you will need to reformat it to make it work. Please check the instructions before using it on your Apple/Mac. Also, the shipping was extremely fast!! The packaging was great and secure. Great job, Amazon!

I'm really impressed with this hard drive. I hate ordering things like this simply because you never know how they work, how long they last, and if you'll have issues with them early on. It turns out this thing was a blessing. I ended up getting a pretty sweet deal on this because it was right after the holidays and it was money well spent. I purchased this hard drive for my Xbox one X and needless to say that I still have plenty of space for other games. This hard drive is quiet and efficient.

Needed a new External hard drive for backpacking and traveling around the world as I take a lot of photos/videos. Needed something that is rugged and be able to handle “shaking” and work with my laptop in different weather environments. Love the cable carry mechanism and information transfers great with the USB 3.1. Got the 2 TB external hard drive so ready to put this thing into further use!

This drive is much more than I thought it would be. Plug in ready and much smaller than I thought it would be. I thought 2TB would be a wee bit smaller than I needed but it wasn't until I did the actual math that I realized I'll be using this for years to come. I loaded some 500 pictures onto the drive and they took up a very tiny slice of the whole drive. Pleasantly surprised to say the least. Glad I bought it and would recommend it to anyone that wants one.

I also like that the USB 3.0 cable is USB A on each end, rather than MicroUSB, which I have found to be less durable for the always plugging in and unplugging uses. I think that full-size in this case makes more sense.
