DEWALTDSV521 Class 2 Heavy Duty Surveyor Vest, 3X-Large

It's lightweight but durable so it has some thickness to it I absolutely love all the pockets on it the only one I can't seem to understand is the pocket on the back don't know what it's used for it unzips on both sides and you can reach completely through. I use it on a port. Everyone's been asking me where I got it from definitely worth the money.

I work in a warehouse, running forklifts. This is a much nicer vest than the others I've worn, which is what I was expecting from a DeWalt.I purchased a 3X and it fits like a 3X, in contrast to all of the vests from other brands I've purchased in the past. So I need a 2X in this DeWalt vest. I should have seen this coming; DeWalt knows their audience. I'm 6'2 and change, and near 300 lbs. Most of my weight is in my gut. The vest is also longer than the other 3X vests I've purchased.It is much more robust material and more robustly assembled than the $5-20 vests I've previously purchased.I do not understand the full sized pockets on safety vests, and I may ask my wife to sew them into multiple pockets. To be clear, this has been an issue with every vest I have worn, not just this DeWalt safety vest. I haven't figured out what to do with the weird "tablet" pocket on the back of a lot of these vests either. I don't carry a tablet often; maybe if I did, and needed my hands free, that pocket would make more sense.The way DeWalt has handled the tag is worth the price of entry by itself - the CVS receipt length tags on the other vests I've tried are just as comfortable as they were 20 years ago inside your tshirt - which is to say not. DeWalt took care of that too.

Exactly as described, sizing was perfect but a little bulky.

Would have given it 5 stars. But one size fit all was way too baggy . Would have been nice to have had some adjustment. .

In my small business, I have to frequently make tool deliveries to my customers, large corporations with strict warehouse rules. I am a big guy so their loaner vests never fit. I decided to pick up my own. I just leave it in the trunk and always have it when I need it. The badge pocket is great for visitors and the larger size of the vest allowed me to scan the badge at the NFC terminals without removing it. A good buy.

The vest came in and Dewalt used a quality manufacturer, good material all the way around. One thing, the vest is oversized and this is coming from some one who is part of the Big Belly Crew. I'm a big boy and have a difficult time find a quality vest that I like, I hate generic vests with velcro. Ordered this vest because it checked off 4 of the 5 things I'm looking for, but be aware that it is manufactured to be oversized to be work over coats and jackets. Not a bad thing but keep it in mind when ordering.

Lots of pockets. Don't loose thing while working. Fit is great. Doesn't ride up like cheaper vests.The visibility of work badge ID assists greatly as i no longer have to wear a lanyard or armband holder that constantly get in the way or misplace the ID.
