I will be ordering this again and again!
I have seen chefs on TV cook with Gochujang many times, so I decided to buy some and try it for myself. It's delicious. Gochujang is made from fermented brown rice, tapioca syrup, red pepper powder, salt, soybeans, garlic, and onion. I ordered the "medium" heat level and it's perfect for me. It's so easy to use, simply open the package, scoop out a teaspoon, and stir it into my food. I use this in beans and lentils, on pasta, in soups and stews, in stir-fries. the uses are endless. This Gochujang offers not just head but a complex and delicious flavor.

Yummy sauce
So tasty! I've bought this a couple of times, it lasts forever and is good on nearly everything. Spicy but not too spicy. The "review ideas" panel is suggesting i mention the seal, the seal was intact. Expiration date is july 1, 2026, which is over a year away. Excellent all around!

This is a very nice paste to use with chickens and vegetables. Very tasty and spicy. We will definitely use this again for our dishes.

great value for the money I was slightly disappointed with the heat level I bought the hot because I love spicy food much mellower then it lied on to be.

First time making Kimchi - perfect product!
While it is my goal to make Kimchi from scratch, using rice flour, Korean spices, garlic, onion, rice wine vinegar, etc. for the Gochujang, I decided to start simple and use this premade paste. Packaging was tight and undamaged. Oddly, it doesn't have the strong smell you'd expect, but WOW does it pack a ton of flavor! I chose the "Hot," because I like spicy Kimchi. I tasted it fresh, prior to fermentation, and it was delicious! I did add about a teaspoon of seat salt for the perfect flavor. Currently waiting 7 days for it to ferment!
