Select Leather Lotion Cleaner & Conditioner

i have used a bunch of different leather products in the past that didn't give me the results i had hoped for and didn't have high expectations for cadillac select premium leather conditioner. i read the reviews, visited the website, read a few blog posts... and compared a bunch of different products before deciding. see, i bought - what seemed to be - a lightweight lambskin jacket off ebay. it arrived and i was horribly disappointed! first, it has a light finish to it and second, it was horribly dry! i honestly thought that i was going to just have to get rid of this jacket coz i wouldn't even be able to resell it in good conscience. it was so dry that i knew it would shred if worn - which was probably why i got it for a good price . i didn't really have anything to lose so i ordered this product. when the conditioner arrived i applied it, following the directions and later found out that i could use a bit more at each application. so far i have treated the jacket 3 times letting it dry in between applications. i may have to treat it a few more times but i can feel the difference and it actually looks more hydrated! it's drapey, more supple, the color is richer... it's weightier and smells more like leather! i am truly surprised! there was some color bleeding but that's because these's hardly any finish on the leather. i didn't rub or work the lotion into the leather, it just soaked it up. there isn't any film or stickiness, or residue after application, it isn't perfumed, or greasy. there's a faint, almost polish scent that fades after the lotion dries. if i was really on my game i'd remove the jacket lining and condition the underside of the leather also. what's in it? i don't know but it hasn't irritated my skin, doesn't make me sneeze, or my eyes water. i don't think there's any dimethicone or silicone in it. it seems like a really good quality conditioner. i am happy with the results so far and will order this again - i just hope the formula doesn't change!!!

I have an extensive luxury bag collection and have many vintage pieces. I've used apple leather conditioner as well as saddle soap on pieces in the past, and it's caused some bags to fall apart or excessively wrinkle. I bought a gorgeous 2016 Chanel flap and could tell she needed some moisture. I was terrified to use the lotions I had, and did research on the best lotions for delicate leathers. This popped up, so I gave it a shot. When I tell you I'll NEVERRRR use anything else on my bags- I mean it. The way this lotion made my bags look new, beautiful and shiny with 0 wrinkles is amazing. I've gone through and conditioned all my bags with this lotion and there isn't a single bag that had any issues with it. I've used it on Gucci's, LV's, Chanels and Fendis and they've all turned out perfect. I can't recommend this stuff enough!

This product is a life saver and a mush have with leather care. This product does not have a strong scent, it gives leather a nice sheen and can be used for more than handbags. I use it for all leather that needs cleaning. Also this is a cleaner and a conditioner combined with great value.

I like this product. It leaves my shoes soft, moist and with a nice shine. I am mixing it with the Cadillac shoe care. I wish it could be this product a little bit more moisturizing but for my very dry shoes,I don't know why,it works really good. I bought a different brand and it was horrible. I would recommend it strongly this brand.

This worked perfectly on my leather purses! It cleaned them up really nicely and left the leather looking refreshed without feeling greasy or sticky. I also love that it conditions at the same time, so it helps keep the leather soft and from drying out. It was easy to apply and didn’t take much product to see a difference. If you’re looking for something simple and effective to maintain your leather items, I definitely recommend this!

I've waited to write this review to really test out how this conditioner would work on my bags. I've used this on 4 different Chanel bags, one pink lambskin, one black lambskin, one white caviar, and one black caviar and the results were pretty good. I hesitated to use it on the pink lambskin and white caviar as I was worried that it would alter the color of my bags, but so far, my bags looked amazing without any changes in color. I apply a bit more on the back where it tends to crease when the bag is opened and I've noticed that the creasing is less apparent now that I condition it more often. I try to condition my bags every 3 months to keep it looking pristine. I would definitely recommend this to others that are looking for a conditioner for their Chanel babies

I liked this leather cleaner and conditioner well enough when I used it on a leather handbag. But it's a very small bottle for the price. I'm not sure what would make it worth that price per ounce. I doubt one bottle would be enough to clean and condition my leather sofa. In addition, the seal came undone during shipment, so the bottle I received was about 20% depleted from an already small container. Fortunately my other items were packaged so did not get ruined by the leaking bottle of leather cleaner.

Love it. I use it on my Chanel (white patent leather), Chloe (light yellow leather) and Isabel Marant bag (brown natural leather) bags. Read some of the reviews and many buyers had issues with the bottle missing a good 1/4 to 1/3 of the bottle; I had no issues, the bottle was pretty full. The condition is a soluable, viscous solution. It goes on clear and dries clear. I used as directed and put some on and evenly spread the conditioner throughout the bags surface, let it sit for a bit and gently polished it away. I had no issues with residue and have already used on three different leather compositions and they all look amazing. Was initially concerned that the conditioner may change the color of the brown leather (Isabel marant bag in photo), but it did not change the color at all. The photo shows the left with the condition after first application, and the right without the conditioner. As you can see, the left is slightly moist and shiny, but with a quick polish, it returns to its original color. I used about 1/5 of the bottle so far on 4 bags. This will definitely go a long way. The conditioner has a slight acidic, plastic smell, but it is bareable and does not remain on your bag. I have very sensitive to scent, and can comfirm, it does not retain the initial scent. I researched A LOT of products before buying this one, and I am very pleased. :)
