TARIO 7 String Electric Guitar Bolt_On Maple Neck Poplar Wood Body (Burl poplar top body)

So out of the box this thing is pretty!!!The first thing I do with cheaper guitars is always yank the strings clean condition set up action and intonation check the truss rod blah blah blah. So I'll recommend before you do anything give all he saddles a turn and a half down to get started because the action is super high out of the box. No problem. I threw some DDT strings on so I had to file out the nut a little. Fretboard is nice and smooth frets aren't sharp but they are a little bulky... I gave them a light pass with some suuuuper high grit. One inlay was a little buggered up.... no problem light light sanding.. perfect. After stringing up I fine tuned action and and intonation. I gotta say it plays like a dream. Love this guitar, I'm probably going to buy another one. Pickups sound great, knobs just need a little working back and forth gently and they smoothed right out. Electronics seem fine but I will be bringing to a tech to really check that stuff out. Cable jack was a little stiff once again I just used the little cable it comes with to work it out a little, took the nut off and just gave it the tiniest drop of gun oil.... maybe not a pro suggestion but it works for me. If you're a hands on person yiu will love this guitar, if not you will still love it just go drop the 50 bucks at the shop to get it spiffied up. I'm gonna go shred now.

This thing works amazing. Most Amazon guitars are total trash but this thing is high quality and worth the price.

The media could not be loaded. String farrals fell out when changing strings, although they worked well enough, the tuning machines not good and screws for pickups are not straight & aligned properly need redone and some of fret inlays are dull and boring whereas others ar relly striking. I also had to do fret work in order to frets 1-4 to make it play somewhat in tune. For this price range I expected to do some work like tuners and basic set up. If I would change anything about this is the tuning machines and quality control. There is a good guitar here but it's going to take work to get there.A few months later- i am enjoying playing and learning to do my own set ups and upgrades. I found that good guitar.

So this will probably be a 2 part review. Just got it today and it was -3°F so I didn't really expect it to be in tip top set up. But out of the box felt good. The Neck is wide but doesn't feel like a baseball bat. First thing I did was put a set of heavy core Trivium 63-10 strings they feel pretty good. The pickups where a real nice surprise, nice and crisp plenty of low end. Will update after a few weeks.

Seriously amazing guitar for $200, got it earlier that expected & it's a great 7 string guitar. It was a bit out of tune but that is a common issue when buying guitars online.5/5 Would recommend it for beginner or advanced players. This thing is worth three times the price. It needed a little setup and new strings, but other than that this is every bit a guitar I would pay $500 for. The pickups are possibly the best sounding stock pickups I've ever had in a guitar. Don't think twice, order this thing.

This guitar is a phenomenal instrument and a joy to play, but it was advertised as having a 26.5 inch scale length. It has a standard 25.5 inch scale. It also needed a fair bit of adjustment to get it right for me but that's to be expected when ordering a guitar online. I like how lightweight it is, and there's no neck dive. It delivers planet-splitting death metal tones when I play through high-gain amps.I recommend this guitar for experienced players only due to the amount of work I had to put into it.

The burl top is nice and the pickups sound good. Mine had a wiring problem on the tone pot where the center lug was attached to the capacitor lug. Sounded much better after fixing that. A lot of work to the sharp frets and setup. Intonation and action were very far off. It’s not really a good first guitar for someone. If you can do setup it’s okay.
