This video has the usual Tubby mix of music, repetition and movement, designed to stimulate children's imaginations, promote speech and increase confidence. Our young reviewers needed little encouragement to join in with the action on screen and when the voice trumpet called out parts of the body for the Tubbies to wash, they had plenty of time to think of the answer, shout it at the screen and perform the actions. All the familiar features of the series are here: reliable Noo-noo who cleans up when Po encounters difficulty with the Tubby custard machine, the gurgling sun and lots and lots of rabbits; and when the magic windmill turns, real children are shown having a busy day too, cleaning their teeth, going for a walk and getting ready for bed.
