beautiful quality product
Threaded 3 pand rong holder make this extremely sturdy and easy to install. The bowl is just lovely - the only way to do a bird bath so you can easily take it inside and clean and refill frequently. Was hesitant on the style, but the hammered bowl is so sparkly in the sun yet organic - made the right choice!

Beautiful and well made.
I love this birdbath, it's simple and beautiful. I have a different copper basin and iron stand birdbath and it has lasted for over 5 years and still looks wonderful. I wanted another because I have noticed it doesn't grow algae when I came upon this shop. Perfection! It was wrapped so well that the unwrapping took longer than putting it together but that's good. It is just lovely. I got the hand fired one because I like the way it looks. Its deep enough for a small solar fountain. Very stable and looks and feels durable. The bowl just sits on the base so easy to dump and put clean water in. If you are looking for a good sturdy bath or feeder for the yard, get this, it's well worth the money. I have a small solar fountain coming later today.

Sturdy & Beautiful
What a great birdbath! It replaced a beautiful verdigris-painted steel birdbath that we had since 2005. The pedestal broke two days before this purchase--rusted through the support column. It was easy to see why as moisture had a multitude of ways to enter that column! We read reviews of earlier problems with the Good Directions Small Copper Pole Bird Bath and saw that Good Directions changed the design specifications as a result of those problems. They are not kidding! It assembled as easily as one can hope, absolutely doesn't wobble, and the spikes easily entered the ground which is still rather hard after nearly four years of local drought. We just moved and if we can again attract crows in our new neighborhood, we know exactly where to find a great Large Copper Pole Birdbath! We are very pleased.

Looks great months after install!
I actually drilled a hole and mounted this on top of a small landscape boulder. Looks great, has only blown off once, and is getting a nice patina on it. Put it near birdfeeders and birds use both. Have gotten several compliments on this bath!

Very nice bird bath; lots to maintain.
So, having bought this for my mother and having it set up for almost 2 years now: this thing is nice.Yes, it WILL ABSOLUTELY tarnish over time, so maintain cleaning it every now and again (what do you expect: copper tarnishes in water, and this water has fun bird turds in it).I don't mind the maintenance factor of it, gives me something to do for my mom. Overall though, the birds love it! I had fears of it blowing away in stormy conditions, but when there's water in there, that is not guaranteed to happen. Note though: it does NOT screw or bolt into the rim/ring, it sits loosely, and may take some adjusting for it to be level. So, if it's VERY windy in your area, make sure you put it in a spot where the birds can see it, and has at least 2 angles of wind protection around it (mine is up against our shop, but is almost in a wind-protected spot in a flower bed).Overall, love it, birds love it. Can't go wrong!

Easiest Bird Bath Yet
This is worth it!. Bowl lifts right out; super easy to clean; but sturdy enough to stay put. Screw together pole is heavy duty metal. My 1st customer was a Blue Jay. The old bath, I had set on 2 6x12 pavers; separated them slightly and stand fit right between blocks; will make it easy to mow. A little smallish looking; but very elegant. Highly recommend.

Really beautiful
We put this beautiful bird bath up to replace a ceramic bird bath that kept getting broken and needed to be replaced every year. We wanted an unbreakable, sturdy one. While this covers all of those requirements: sturdy, beautiful, likely to last years and years; we’ve had it up for nearly a month and haven’t seen one bird use it! We have lots of birds in our yard. There are a couple of robin nests nearby and we have lots of mature trees. I wonder why the birds don’t come to it?
