Take a quantum leap into the universe of Schrödinger's Cat Trilogy. It's a wise and wacky look at our recent past seen through a fun-house mirror...it's a satire on our violent, inexplicable, wonderful world...and it's a mind trip inward to expose our deepest hopes and fears. The missing plutonium a terrorist group turns into nuclear devices, the Mad Fishmonger, the future America called Unistat, our hero Benny "Eggs" Benedict, and the Invisible Hand are real but beyond the Black Hole, out of space, out of time--in the universe next door. Review: The carnival of weirdness continues - Robert Anton Wilson, the "last Scientific shaman of our age" provides us with a guide to illumination in this series of three books that are one book. Each volume here collected is a different view of the same world, a ride through the most radical theories of modern physics. Many characters from the Illuminatus! Trilogy reappear, including Simon Moon and the midget Markoff Chaney. They all take slightly different forms, except for Chaney, who appears as the ever constant Random Factor. And when Ulyses return to Ithyca, we get a peak at what Wilson's imagination is capable of. The book may be slightly perverse. But then, he's writing about the state of the human race. I assume that it is only Wilson's positivity that keeps him from writing us all into a novel that would make Sade cringe. The point here is to enjoy, observe, and learn. Readers of Illuminatus! will certainly enjoy this book. Moralists, of course, will weep in their beds. But that's the best part of all... Review: Just received this book - I just received this book and it's next on my reading list. I have heard so many compliments on this book that I just had to add it to my library.

An affordable new paperback edition of a classic, late 20th Century masterpiece!
I love this book and wanted my friend to read it so I ordered it. It came quickly, in good condition, was cheap, and he was laughing out loud by the second page. Success all around!

Another long novel by RAW
This continuation of The Illuminatus Trilogy is in some ways better written but still has many of the same weaknesses. It is interesting, but also overly meandering. We have a plot that spans parallel universes and concludes in a Gainax ending, apparently in the Homer universe, of Odysseus returning to Ithaca. It is a good read but far from perfect.

If Illuminatus! is notorious for making sane people paranoid ...
If Illuminatus! is notorious for making sane people paranoid schizofreniacs then Schroedinger's Cat Trilogy will bring back their sanity. Witty, explicit and insightful satire on our daily behavior, neuroses and genetic heredity.

Required reading for all humans. (should be at least.)

Witty, a laugh a minute
Robert Anton Wilson is especially well versed in the art of satire (and outright sociopolitical comedy). If you are a fan of RAW, you should not be without this book.

RAW! RAW! RAW!
This trilogy was a lot of fun to read, great satire, humour, and jammed packed with head bending ideas ( which are delved into deeper in his non novel works). Infotainment that will fracture and fractal your reality tunnels
