Faber Castle is always great
I got this as a gift for my father as he likes to experiment with different styles of art. The price was great and i know he really enjoyed using them. I saw some of the pictures he drew with this and it looks spectacular. Faber Castle is a great brand for art for people who are more on the professional side. If you have the money... this is a great set.

Only if they have color names in English
Even though they say this version is less than professional grade, it is still Faber-Castell and there is nothing to complain about in terms of quality. But the pencils have only numbers, not names. Also the color chart they have for comparison for each set on Google search has only Japanese letters. Wish they can provide the color names in English, too, if they sell in other countries.

Product details say: Origin Japan, it is false. Probably the pencils came from Japan, but as other Faber-Castell made out of Germany, pencils are Made in INDONESIA.Each pencil color has a number, so you know what is. The name is in No Latin letters, but on the pencil there is the word Name with special space to write it.Pencil can be used dry or as watercolor. For the price ($21.53), the range of colors and quality is good. The price of each pencil is about $0.60, but the price of high quality watercolor pencil is approx $1.20 and more. These pencils are of good quality and more affordable in no professional use.
