Solid heat lamp for about a year then flames come out
Great product for the price. Left it on for two weeks straight so far, no burning smells or funky stuff to report. My only complaint is the limited rotation but its so minor a problem that I really don't care too much. Update: I bought this Dec 2019, it is now April 2020. Lamp is still going strong, the only change is that it’s housing got so hot over time the plastic knobs on the screws that hold the bulb in place have gotten dry and crumbled off....honestly I expected more damage since I have turned it off about 4 times since getting it. Pretty well made, damage isn’t a deal breaker since the device still has all it’s functionality. Using a screwdriver never killed anyone either, just make sure it is unplugged first of course. ****UPDATE**** Oct. 5, I woke up today to the smell of the wires melting and feel lucky there was not a full blown fire.

Does the job perfectly
I order this for my bearded dragon tank and after a day of use it quit working, I reached out to the company to see if they would replace it and they were very understanding and willing to work with me. They sent me a new one and it’s worked great since I got it. Would highly recommend!

A very good option for brooder heat.
The reason why I chose this option was because it doesn't emit any light, so the chicks can sleep at night. I know that the "red" light bulbs do the same thing, but this seemed much sturdier than a glass bulb, and seems like it'll last longer. The chicks really appreciated the heat, would get under and warm up, then wander off again. I just now unplugged it, since the chicks don't need the heat anymore, and I'm sure it has a lot more life to it yet.. so when I get more bitties (turkeys I think, next time!) I'll have one ready to go.**The base where the ceramic bulb goes does get very hot to the touch, so be careful of that. There's no cage around the ceramic bulb, but I had no problem with any of the chicks ever getting too close to it. The heat was strong enough I could place it higher than they could reach.

Turtle Warmer? More like Hand Warmer
I've been searching for a product to keep my hands warm at work forever, and this thing works perfectly! I built a base for it and wired in a light to indicate when it's on. The light was key to keeping me (and others) from touching the element when it's heated up. I just set it in front of my keyboard and mouse, and it doesn't matter how cold my colleagues turn down the AC. I just keep working away, without issue.

Great
Awesome. I use it for a 75 gallon tank and it keeps it in the mid 90s.

Evenly distributed heat
Produces great heat and compact enough to move/clip around her habitat. Our box turtle loves basking around the area since heat is evenly distributed(constant 80* f). I chose this type of heat lamp instead of the heat and light combo simply because I wanted her to have total darkness at night.

HOT
Great for a bigger tank but was just too much for my 10 gallon. Be careful as the ceramic gets HOT! I have a scar on my arm from brushing up against it on accident!

Extremely hot and be careful
This heat lamp is extremely hot and dangerous. I accidentally bumped into it and it singed my new jacket, see photos. Do not let pets or children near it when using.

Pobre calidad
Lamentablemente la lámpara es de mala calidad. A partir de la tercera semana empezó a quemarse el material que la cubre y despedía humo.Nunca la utilicé más de 3 horas seguidas y aún así no resiste su propia temperatura. No lo recomiendo.
